    It's been seven years since One Direction kickstarted their Up All Night campaign with lead single and #1 hit What Makes You Beautiful - but what's your favourite from the boys' début album? Are there any album tracks that should have been a single, something that was but definitely shouldn't have been a single, or are they perfect as they are? Vote in the poll and let's hear what you think! My favourite from the era is What Makes You Beautiful. Both an incredibly infectious and wonderful pop song; the perfect way for them to bounce into the charts!  I do still have a soft spot for Gotta Be You despite it probably being their biggest misfire (I probably wouldn't release another song in its place though given the option - there's not really another album track I'd swap in, and More Than This is a nice bookend).

I'd say 'More Than This' definitely should have been the second single over 'Gotta Be You'. In fact, I have a big soft spot for all the singles here except that one.

What Makes You Beautiful is definitely the best, not just from this album but from their entire discography (and boybands in general).
1. What Makes You Beautiful 2. More Than This (I wish this got the full single treatment so badly, it really should have been single 2 like Aly said, not wasted in Australia only  )3. One Thing 4. Gotta Be You (I mean I don't hate it but it's definitely their worst single) |
