So- Single #3 is announced today, would be shocked if its not Empire...

and she has been confirmed on the following [which is a great launchpad for single #3 and the album for Xmas]

Metro Live (Newcastle) Nov28
Key 103 (Manchester) Dec 4
Capital Jingle Bell Ball Dec 6th
Xfactor Dec 7th-- not quite confirmed yet!

Well I'm shocked! mellow.gif I do like Yours, but it has been out and about for ages!

Maybe it is time for a ballad though, and maybe Empire would have been a bit samey... we'll see soon enough!

unsure.gif Really don't understand why they've chose this, Empire, Mirror Man, Give Your Heart Away & The First time are far superior sad.gif Can't realistically see it doing much chart wise, maybe top 20-15 with an X-Factor performance. Would love to be proved wrong but I suppose time will tell. Gutted they haven't chose Empire, hopefully they're saving it for the 4th single.

Very surprising, I can only assume they know that 'Empire' will be a hit without an X Factor performance so are saving it for later in the campaign. I'd have personally preferred 'Hard Work' to be released for a ballad single, but 'Yours' is still very nice. Definitely an album seller anyway and hopefully the X Factor performance can have a 'Beneath Your Beautiful' effect!

I didn't think Glow was single-worthy after listening to the album.

Definitely agree with Empire. Perhaps Give Your Heart Away or Mirror Man.

I love Yours. Didnt Someone Like You perform well? Its in the same vein. I could see this topping itunes after an x factor performance. Im just worried that they are going to waste Empire... it needs to be 4th now with Pieces as 5th which should have been 4th. Praying for the best. This could definitely sell the album. Empire is a bit similar to Glow as well so I can see why they went for something else.
