unahealy: In the studio today working on some new music with these guys @jakecartermusic @davearkins 🙌🏻 Whether this is Una working with them on their material or them for hers, I thought this would be worthy of it's own thread. I agree. The album was nice but it was a bit country by numbers. She needs something that packs a little more punch.

It's a lovely album but when I look at other country artists like Hunter Hayes, Ward Thomas, etc, there is definitely a variation of sound and approach whereas I feel other than the big tracks Battlelines, Stay My Love, The Waiting Game, Staring at the Moon, the rest were quite samey until you really made an effort to distinguish tracks apart. |

Una has been songwriting with Jimmy Sims (MIKA, Amy MacDonald, Pete Doherty and The Saturdays) and Ben Parker.
I'm guessing by now shes got a couple of songs to go so I wouldn't be surprised if she released an EP of these + Incase You Didn't Know to hold us over? |

I think something along the lines of "Battlelines" or even Hunter Hayes' "I Want Crazy", which don't scream banger but have catchy riffs.
