Quarabag always miss out in the playoffs and it won't stop this year playing. Copenhagen!

Yeh tough for Liverpool but they should still really qualify!

Is it though?

Sevilla I'd have thought would have been a tougher draw. There's probably a good half dozen in there that would have been tougher because of the travelling/poorer facilities & pitch surface.

True but yes it will be a difficult match as we are playing a German Bundesliga team. But as I said we should still win!

While Sevilla are a tougher team, we couldn't have drawn them as we were both seeded in the 'Play-off' route.

Liverpool will beat Hoffenheim easily I think. It's rare that the 4th placed English team doesn't make it into the group stages of the Champions League, it's only Everton in 2005 that I can remember not getting past this stage of the competition after finishing 4th the previous season.

I expected us to lose Real Madrid in the Super Cup so the result was not a surprise to me but judging by the highlights it looked like we had quite a few decent goal scoring opportunities and the result could have been different on another day if we were more clinical in front of goal. Lukaku is already showing how much of a good signing that he is by scoring in nearly every match for us so far.

That chance when Kroos gave it away and he came out of nowhere in an offside position to take the ball off Herrera was funny and typical of him!

I don't think I've yelled at my TV so loud in a long time when Lukaku went for that ball

It wasn't a horrific performance. We still need that winger we've been after all summer to help our goal scoring. Matic looked really good so that's a nice positive. I think Lindelof will look better when Bailly is beside him.

Both us and Real weren't at peak but we didn't get steamrolled by the best team in Europe without our number 1 defender, so for us this is a reasonable positive. As long as we can finish off teams better then progression from the Groups should be achievable for us

Don't think Joses team would get steamrolled anyway the way he sets up!

It Sumed Romelu up, doesn't have much game intelligence but he will score LOADS with the supply!

There was a threat of it and Real have so much talent up front that they are the type of team that would give us an absolute hounding if we were going to get one.

He's got more pace than Ibra which will help us magnificently. Counters will be much more effective with a player than can actually run!

No surprises in Coutinho has been left out of Liverpool's squad for tomorrow's Champions League play-off first leg against Hoffenheim.

I think he genuinely was injured to begin with, now I've no idea. Best he's kept away from the squad until after the transfer window really.

Champions League group stage draw is taking place later this afternoon, six British teams will be in the draw for the first time in possibly forever. Hopefully United will get a decent draw, I wouldn't want us to have to defend our Europa League trophy this season laugh.gif
