It's a great song I really like it - but what a strange performance.

Some of the tweets after it made me laugh out loud. laugh.gif

I must be too old for reading twitter. There is an incredible amount of hate there for Robbie Williams and reading some of the tweets it is not because of his music or because they have heard his music it is simply because he must be bad because he is him. I am again and again speechless about this. Far more negative tweets than positive. I wonder if those who downloaded the song and made it no 9 in itunes for the night simply are not on twitter

The haters in general post more that most people Elisabeth & that is the same for every artist out there, they do it because they know they can upset the person concerned . I just ignore it , nobody would have a life if they were to take too much notice of what is being said on twitter or elsewhere

I still cannot believe how much money was raised in a few hours last might

Piece below from the Sun newspaper

How much money was raised?
All of the money raised at Soccer Aid goes to Unicef and every £1 pledged will be turned into £3 thanks to support from the Government and Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance.

At full time, it was announced that £11,552,577 had been raised throughout the match.

That makes this Soccer Aid the most successful in history.

Twitter is usually negative about anything like that, so I wouldn't worry. People are far more likely to tweet hate than praise in general!

Take Twitter with a pinch of salt Elisabeth. I saw some very funny tweets not malicious. happy.gif

The song is great. I bought it today. I love it cheer.gif

Far more important is the amount of money raised. Bloody amazing. yahoo.gif

I wouldn't be so sure Tess.

They could well be accompanying him on his next tour.

Is Robbie in the soccer aid video a hologram like some said in the comment?

It actually looks like it. He has a thin rim around him and the Struts singer doesn't really touch him when he lays his arm around him.
