Hello,
Murdoch/Sky are making sure that there is no joy for UK TV
Viewers.

Someone suggested that Sky could move, 'Prison Break'
to Sky Three - so UK Free View Viewers can watch it.

Sorry! According to today's, 'Mail On Sunday', Sky are on the verge
of getting the OK to REMOVE Sky Three - and their other Channels
from Free View - & to replace them with New Channels on Free View.

Except that the New 'Free View' Sky Channels would have to be
PAID FOR! You'd have to Pay each Month, to see them.

You'd also have to 'Up-Grade' your Free View Box - for one that
has a Slot in it - for a Plastic Sky Card!

Murdoch has far, far too much influence in the UK Media.
It is wrong for one Man to control so many TV Channels,
& News Papers.

And, Sky couldn't care less about the UK Public - they
just want to make as much cash as possible - and screw
anyone who can't afford to pay up!

And people moan about the ANNUAL licence fee for BBC.... Sorry, but this man and Sky are far more evil and pernicious than paying a yearly licence fee for the BBC as far as I'm concerned.... At least you only have to pay once with the Beeb and not have to pay seperately for all the "extras"...... And then they still have the fukkin' nerve to show ADVERTISEMENTS EVERY TEN FUKKIN' MINUTES regardless of the fact that you pay through the nose for your "service"... dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif

This man is an evil bast*rd... I have absolutely NO QUALMS WHATSOEVER about illegally downloading progs like "Lost", "24", "X-Files" or "Prison Break", 'cos I USED TO BE GETTING TO SEE ALL OF THESE (and taping them.....) ON SODDING TERRESTRIAL ANYWAY........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif

Sky is the evilness. I mean I was walking through the Metro Centre the other week, and they had one of their little stands up, and they were just jumping on people, with "come to Sky" "why don't you want Sky" "come on" sick.gif

I for one can live without Sky One, and their evil empire of channels laugh.gif I shall stand by my Virgin Media wub.gif I like my TV on demand.

Oh and I just remembered laugh.gif Sky have a stand in Middlesbrough bus station most days pouncing on people too sleep.gif which ironically is next door to Virgin Megastores laugh.gif

I get regular phone calls from Sky asking me to sign up. They seem dumbfounded when I say I don't want it. If I say I don't want to line Murdoch's pockets, they insist he has nothing to do with Sky. So, they are preapred to lie in their efforts to sign up new customers.

I too shall stick with Virgin. The service may not always work properly but at least Branson is less evil than Murdoch. Not hard, admittedly. And I can't remember the last time I watched Sky One before it was removed from Virgin.

I only ever watched Sky One for 24 and there are ways around it kink.gif On Demand is the hmm troublesome thing for me when it doesn't want to work laugh.gif Usually always about half 1 in the afternoon

And as for broadband Virigin is far superior to Sky's poor excuse for broadband *shudder*
