Channel 4 is expected to launch a +1 time shift channel for its main channel, across all digital platforms in August, according to reports.
The news comes as chief executive Andy Duncan is to respond to Ofcom's report last week on Channel 4's funding, by defending its PSB contribution at today's Westminster Media Forum. Duncan is likely to highlight to programming like Jamie's School Dinners, and Channel 4's contribution to the UK film industry through its commissions for Film4 and 4onDemand, as output that is not currently recognised in the existing PSB measures. from digitalspy This post has been edited by martyn: 19th June 2007, 09:15 PM |

I tend to get lazy when there's a +1 service
I watch BB and other stuff off Channel 4 on 4onDemand on Virgin anyway |

Hopefully they'll get rid o Film Four +1 on Freeview when this launches, no-one watches Film Four, so I doubt anyone watches the timeshift channel tbh.

That seems pointless tom me if I'm honest?
E4 is much better than C4 anyway - except when they stick BB on all day. :/ |
