I've sent out the MP3 pack for Now Dance Explosion to a few people. If you haven't received it but would like it, let me know.

Comments on Dandy*s 90s play list
First set. This set contains some of the greatest music ever made. These would all be 10/10 for me Animal Nitrate 3:26 Suede 90s XL Pop 0 8 07/11/2020, 15:50 A Design For Life 4:18 Manic Street Preachers 90s XL Pop 0 9 07/11/2020, 15:50 Tonight, Tonight 4:16 The Smashing Pumpkins 90s XL Pop 0 8 08/11/2020, 17:34 Only Happy When It Rains 3:47 Garbage 90s XL Pop 0 6 07/11/2020, 15:53 Inbetweener 3:18 Sleeper 90s XL Pop 0 7 07/11/2020, 15:51 Something For The Weekend 4:20 The Divine Comedy 90s XL Pop 0 10 08/11/2020, 17:42 Road Rage 4:02 Catatonia 90s XL Pop 0 5 08/11/2020, 21:55 Epic 3:58 Faith No More 90s XL Pop 0 4 08/11/2020, 18:20 Monday Morning 5:19 4:51 Rialto 90s XL Pop 0 3 08/11/2020, 18:20 There She Goes 2:43 The La's 90s XL Pop 0 4 07/11/2020, 16:10 Yes 4:53 McAlmont & Butler 90s XL Pop 0 1 17/11/2020, 12:05 Ladykillers 3:14 Lush 90s XL Pop 0 5 07/11/2020, 19:22 My Favourite Game 3:40 The Cardigans 90s XL Pop 0 2 14/11/2020, 00:35 Regret 4:11 New Order 90s XL Pop 0 1 15/11/2020, 17:44 F.E.A.R. 4:29 Ian Brown 90s XL Pop 0 2 15/11/2020, 16:34 Beautiful Ones 3:52 Suede 90s XL Pop 0 1 15/11/2020, 16:11 Live Forever 4:36 Oasis 90s XL Pop 0 9 15/11/2020, 16:09 Street spirit (Fade Out) 4:14 Radiohead 90s XL Pop 0 10 07/11/2020, 15:53 If I were to pick 2 Suede songs I would pick those two - I know Beautiful Ones may not be as good as some of their earlier singles but it represents the best of the post-Butler era. Street Spirit/Animal Nitrate/ A Design for Life battle out for the best song of the whole decade. I'm struggling to find artists that are missing. I'd perhaps add Pearl Jam, either Black, Go or Rearview Mirror. And maybe Planet of Sound from the Pixies Personally, I'd have Birdhouse in Your Soul and Del Amitri's Nothing Ever Happens in there too. My Life Story - 12 Reasons always perks up a 90s playlist for me. Bottom of the pile are Three Lions 3:44 David Baddiel, Frank Skinner & The Lightning Seeds 90s XL Pop 0 1 16/11/2020, 19:19 Iris 4:50 The Goo Goo Dolls 90s XL Pop 0 2 10/11/2020, 17:41 Iris is among my least favourite songs. |

“F.E.A.R.” was released in 2001! Flop Dandy*. : (
Also how can u have a 90s compilation without “Little Fluffy Clouds” by the Orb?? Also for Saint Etienne, “Only Love Can Break Your Heart” is great but the Motiv8 remix of “He's On The Phone” is a 90s MUST. |

I prefer my compilations to be by Year, it grates jumping from 1990 to 1999. My vinyl singles are all arranged chronologically - I know this may sound like a librarian ordering books by spine colour - but I like things to be in the correct order, and the correct order is the release-date
Based on chart performance this is my top 100 for 1994 (still working on early 90's/mid 90's): 1 1 37 TAKE A BOW Madonna 2 1 30 KISS FROM A ROSE Seal 3 1 59 RIGHT BESIDE YOU Sophie B. Just to be clear, my tastes change as the years pass, and the mood I'm in on any given day, and my BEST of 1994 would include many missing and quite a few of these wouldnt stand a chance of making a top 100 these days. |

Glad you approve of “disc” 3 too Colm! That’s the other one I turn to most often… I don’t expect such glowing reviews for the others - especially the dance ones as your knowledge far exceeds mine for those

That's quite a long time for a song to be in a personal chart.

Hi-
I'm trying to put together a compilation for 1991. Does anybody know where I can track down either the 7” edit of Gary Clail's “Human Nature” or the edit for True Faith's “Take Me Away” please? I've got the 12” in HQ for both but they are over 6 minutes and that kind of limits the time available for the rest of the compilation. |
