Love that Bastille song. Yay at Lana being A-listed also and Iggy being added with another great song
But boo at Amelia being snubbed with the amazing California (even though we all knew it was coming) |

Over the moon that Prayer In C is A-listed now, hope it can actually snatch #1 now.
Great adds for Bastille (can't wait for the new single), Black Widow (that video ) and This Is How We Do (hope this doesn't kill her airplay) This post has been edited by jsilv: 13th August 2014, 04:41 PM |

So Ella & Sigma for next week. To me that makes sense with a few weeks away from their release date
Yay for Black Widow. In an ideal world it would be a big #1 but that won't be the case since the album is out now obviously. Shame This post has been edited by Rob S: 13th August 2014, 04:49 PM |

This Bastille single is the one that should have been the follow up to 'Pompeii' instead of 'Laura Palmer'.
I knew Amelia had no chance of being added. What I don't get about this release is why a bigger label signed her only to do nothing with this single. I love her and everything, but if I was a record label boss I certainly wouldn't consider it a good investment to sign her at this stage. |

This really is the last single from 'Bad Blood' apparently.
Yay for Coldplay being added. |

Totally skimmed past the James Bay track as BBC Introducing also, fabulous to see he's getting *some* support

Yeah, Bastille really don't need to release another single off the album but we've had that discussion on here many times already. I guess if it helps shift a few more copies of the album then it does its job, I really want a new single from them though!
Surprised there's no Kooks or George Ezra this week, and I'm also surprised they've dropped 'Rude' after only 7 weeks, I thought that would be one of the long runners of the year. |

Yay for Iggy. Hope this can be a big hit for her
Katy's persistence is just incredible to see. Can this be big too please so it paves the way for another single off the album (you know the one ) |

True Love is a decent choice, not sure will do anything big, but I'd think they'd have been hard pressed finding another song on the album that could get commercial success (I would love O to be released though, glorious <3).
Oblivion is great, but yeah Bastille are really milking this era now, its a wonder with ALL THESE singles they couldn't find time for a re-release of Overjoyed |

I see they're snubbing Ariana (at least for now) despite the instant grat in the top 10 on iTunes... hopefully it will do what I said it would last week (go straight to B-List when the album's released) but for now... sad face
Nice to see 5SOS, Iggy & Katy all on the playlist! |

I didn't expect them to add Bastille considering Bad News is premiering tonight, but I'm still pleased because I adore Oblivion! Hopefully Sigma will be added next week, would be a travesty if it missed the playlist because of Paloma Faith ~
