QUOTE If you don't have plans how to spend your Christmas holidays yet, we have the perfect solution for you: Watch the Albanian national selection with us - it will be broadcast live on December 25, 26 and 27 this year. Check out who are the participants! Festivali i Kėngės is not only the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, it's the most prestigious Albanian music competition which has taken place every year since 1962. This year, the 54th edition of the festival will be held in Tirana, with two Semi-Finals on December 25th and 26th, and the Final on December 27th. Today the full line-up of the competition has been announced by public broadcaster RTSH: 1. Egert Pano - Mos ik 2. Eneda Tarifa - Pėrrallė 3. Revolt Klan - Dashurinė s'e gjejmė dot 4. Kozma Dushi - Njė kafe 5. Enxhi Nasufi - Infinit 6. Florent Abrashi - Tė ndjek ēdo hap 7. Dilan Reka - Buzėqesh 8. Evans Rama - Flakė 9. Sigi Bastri - Engjėll i lirė 10. Simbol - Artiste 11. Lindi Islami - Pėr njė mrekulli 12. Egzon Pireci - Triumf 13. Aslajdon Zaimaj - Merrmė qė sot 14. Nilsa Hysi - Asaj 15. Jozefina Simoni - Njė det me ty 16. Genc Tukiēi - Sa tė dashuroj 17. Erga Halilaj - Monolog 18. Teuta Kurti - Nė sytė e mi 19. Klodian Kaēani & Rezarta Smaja - Dashuri nė pėrjetėsi 20. Luiz Ejlli - Pa mbarim 21. Renis Gjoka - Ato qė sti them dot 22. Besa Krasniqi - Liroje zemrėn 23. Flaka Krelani - S'je pėr mua 24. Andi Tanko - Dielli vazhdon tė mė ngrohė 25. Edea Demaliaj - Era 26. Adrian Lulgjuraj - Jeto dhe ėndėrro 27. Kristi Popa - Ajo ēfarė ndjej 28. Voltan Prodani - Dėgjoje kėngėn o Atė 29. Klajdi Musabelli - Ndodh edhe kėshtu 30. Niku & Entela Zhula - Muza Both Adrian Lulgjuraj and Luiz Ejlli have already represented Albania in previous Eurovision Song Contests. Klajdi Musabelliu and Erga Halilaj have also been on the Eurovision stage before, as backing artists. Eurovision.tv Addy predicted the top 3 last year without hearing a single song if I remember rightly, so I look forward to your predictions this year! Looking forward to listening to Luiz's entry, I did like his previous Eurovision entry. Flaka has some hype over on ESCForum.net so maybe she'll be in contention if she's a big name? Albania are one of the best Eurovision countries for me, but after the sensational I'm Alive I did hope that they may change their selection process this year - either to an internal selection or to Kenga Magjike which from what I gather is a much more modern competition than Festivali i Kenges that takes place pretty soon. |

Voltan Prodani - Dėgjoje kėngėn o Atė 29. Klajdi Musabelli - Ndodh edhe kėshtu 30. Niku & Entela Zhula - Muza I don't think the top 3 will be all female as I bolded but since I'm not really following albanian music scene as I used to, I still think it will be between Eneda and Flaka (of course without hearing any songs) This post has been edited by Addy K!ng: 25th October 2015, 01:07 AM |

Here's a recap of both semi-finals, the budget seems to have gone through the roof this year with every song getting its own music video!
Everything feels more modern than it has done in past years and I think there's a few good choices in there. Flaka does stand out as a great choice (around 8 minutes into the semi 2 recap)! |

I don't think people walking in the street or using remarkably lame universe / stars / sky-ish video filters qualifies as bigger budget :')
Sigi Bastri slays pretty much. Luis Ejlli's snippet probably doesn't do the entire song any justice as it literally goes nowhere :/ But the song doesn't go anywhere either really lol Nilsa ooooh <3 I just imagined Kozma going to Stockholm ;_; *_* Klodian & Rezarta are winning. Or Eneda. Revolt Klan's production! So danish and so catchy *.* Has the most Youtube views out of them all too! 13k vs Sigi's 5k! *.* Enxhi tho Not impressed by Flaka's full song. It doesn't have the OOMPH WTF with the song that's closing the whole thing though? Erm... :/ Lindi Islami though. OMG. I'm fucking MELTING. So good. My favourite so far. Very Tom Dice |

EDIT: Got my time zones wrong so it's another 45 minutes away yet, but there we go! |

Semi 2 is just beginning and I think this is the first time I've properly heard the much loved Festivali i Kenges theme tune, and I have to say I love it too!

Enxhi Nasufi has just given me my first wow moment! *.* Enxhi and Klodian & Rezarta have been by far the strongest so far, and the audience agreed given both massive reactions. Flaka up next, let's see if she's in contention!

Flaka was very good, so was Eneda and Lindi as well! And apparently the strongest from last night was Teuta who is also very good after a watch on YouTube. If the juries choose right we could have a extremely good final in store tomorrow, let's hope they do!
I think my personal favourite is Enxhi followed by Flaka but I'd be happy with a good 5 or 6 songs I've heard I think! Conspiracy theorists think that Eneda is RTSH's favourite like Elhaida was last year so maybe she is a likely winner, I'd be happy with that. |

TONIGHT'S NATIONAL FINAL... ALBANIA Festivali i Kėngės 27th December 2015 Begins at 7.45pm in the UK or 8.45pm in Albania and Central Europe Programme scheduled to last 2 hours 45 minutes Watch the selection at Eurovision.tv or via the official TVSH webcast Running Order Click ♫ to watch the live semi-final performances! 01 | ♫ Sigi Bastri – Engjėll i lirė 02 | ♫ Rezarta Smaja & Klodian Kaēani – Dashuri nė pėrjetėsi 03 | ♫ Dilan Reka – Buzėqesh 04 | ♫ Adrian Lulgjuraj – Jeto dhe ėndėrro 05 | ♫ Erga Halilaj – Monolog 06 | ♫ Evans Rama – Flakė 07 | ♫ Jozefina Simoni – Njė det me ty 08 | ♫ Egert Pano – Mos ik 09 | ♫ Genc Tukiēi – Sa tė dashuroj 10 | ♫ Kozma Dushi – Njė kafe 11 | ♫ Luiz Ejlli – Pa mbarim 12 | ♫ Teuta Kurti – Nė sytė e mi 13 | ♫ Besa Krasniqi – Liroje zemrėn 14 | ♫ Nilsa Hysi – Asaj 15 | ♫ Kristi Popa – Ajo ēfarė ndjej 16 | ♫ Flaka Krelani – S'je pėr mu 17 | ♫ Enxhi Nasufi – Infinit 18 | ♫ Lindi Islami – Pėr njė mrekulli 19 | ♫ Florent Abrashi – Tė ndjek ēdo hap 20 | ♫ Eneda Tarifa – Pėrrallė 21 | ♫ Renis Gjoka – Ato qė s'ti them dot 22 | ♫ Aslajdon Zaimaj – Merrmė qė sot Voting The votes will be decided by 100% jury vote. The seven jurors, including previous Albanian Eurovision entrant Olta Boka, will each award Eurovision-style points to their favourite 10 songs and the song with the most points at the end of voting will be the winner. Potential Winners? The fan forums are our only real indicator of potential favourites to look out for, but following the semi-finals it seems that Eneda Tarifa is most fancied. Flaka Krelani went into the semi-finals with the most fan hype and can't be ruled out either. Other contenders could include Teuta Kurti and Lindi Halimi as well as Rezarta Smaja & Klodian Kaēani and Enxhi Nasufi who both received big reactions in the theatre in the second semi-final, and the recommendations from our very own Addy are among these six too. But Festivali i Kėngės juries are always unpredictable so it could be anyone! Further details available at Eurovision.tv |

(A few people found those posts helpful last year so they are back!)
Pleased all my favourites made it, my favourites being the 6 I mention in the potential winners section so I hope I'm not just biased in my opinions there but they are shared by other fans. My top favourite is Enxhi, but I think Eneda probably has the most potential as a Eurovision entry and I see why she seems to have momentum on her side! There were only supposed to be 18 qualifiers, but for some reason they had 22 so they only lost 8 in the semis! |

Now that festive f***ery is over, it's the most wonderful time of the year, NATIONAL FINAL SEASON *.*
Not that I'll be able to tune in for nearly 3 hours of Albanian television (I'm devastated) but I hope to catch all 22 songs tonight. |

The running order has been edited into the post above! All of the supposed favourites piled towards the end, except Rezarta & Klodian - not that it means too much considering it is a jury vote only. But juries are still people, and Elhaida was on last a year ago so it could mean something. I just hope all the strong female modern-ish songs don't cancel each other out and spread the votes between them too much allowing a random rock song to take the title - looking at you 'Identitet' when you beat Anjeza, Kejsi, Flaka and Hersi in FiK 2012!

We have lift off on Eurovision.tv, let's see if they start anywhere near on time - has tended to be around 20 minutes late for the past couple of nights.
