Nah I agree, sounds awful but I'm almost just waiting for him to die because I think how they cope afterwards will be the meat of the storyline and as it is, it's somewhat going in circles. Somehing like a child dying should be a heartbreaking storyline you're invested in, but I'm just... not. I agree Liam. Get on with it and then the aftermath should be heart-wrenching. They're really dragging it out now. |

The wardrobe departments fashion choices for her too. That jumper she wore on Wednesday was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life
I’m still screaming that Abi called her Annie Lennox |

The shows not great at the moment.
The 6 episodes a week is too much for Corrie right now too when we get episodes like the ones we got on Wednesday (which were literally the worst I’ve ever seen without even exaggerating). The thing with Corrie as well is there’s so many characters who are just... there. Like they’ve got the most long timers of any soap it’s literally the soap what you don’t leave tbh but the show really is in need of quite a clear out. So many dead wood boring pointless characters and hardly any interesting stories happening either. The acting is pretty questionable as well. |

So Grace wasn’t even the mother of Tianna.
I didn’t see that one coming. But I’m actually quite pleased at that twist it’s not the usual reveal of just X is not the dad. Quite surprised that didn’t leak way ahead of reveal too we know Corrie are the worst soap at announcing things before hand. |

Awful acting tonight from quite a few people but I’d say Sean and Mary topped the list of pointless scenes tonight.
Jenny as well is usually pretty good but lately she’s been quite OTT and hammy she didn’t really play drunk very well tonight. New Todd’s first appearance too! Too early to judge yet but we shall see how the actor comes into the role and makes it his own. |

Does he look like the old Todd at all then? Haven't seen it this week. Don't go out of my way to see it tbh.

Omg I love Jenny, her and Evelyn's scenes were pretty funny and about all I enjoyed last night, this show really isn't great atm
The new Todd looks nothing like the old one tbh |

Jenny is great and one of my faves, fair enough the new todd doesn't look like the original actor but he seems a very good actor.

The 60th Anniversary Week will feature the characters fighting to save the street after Ray Crosby has bought part of it and attempt to bulldoze it down.
We'll also see the verdict of Yasmeen's trial as well aswell as a storyline that features two characters hiding a 'big secret' |

So many dead wood boring pointless characters and hardly any interesting stories happening either. The acting is pretty questionable as well. I feel like most of the newer characters are the ones that are terrible actors. That Michael is horrendous as is the Goth girl whatever her name is (I can't even be bothered to learn her name her acting is that dreadful), Michael's dad terrible (in fact that whole family's acting is dodgy)... I mean don't get me wrong Fiz can't act to save her life, Steve, Liz and Amy McDonald are all ropey as hell, David Platt is average at best (and somehow the highest paid actor on the show) and Shona's change has somehow made her acting terrible too... so there are plenty of 'older' character who should be chopped. I do agree though the street has got too big, there is too many characters in the show now. |

Yasmeens trial will be gripping though. That’s been the best story CS has done in years! |

The acting is so bad at the moment like really bad.
Don’t think I’ve ever seen Corrie’s acting be as bad in general the way it’s been the last few weeks. Mary, Sean, Billy, New Todd, that stupid gangster even Eileen have been horrendous lately. Gemma Bernie and Chesney not really much better. Hoping it improves soon. |

I actually really think Corrie doesn't suit being on 6 times a week... I think the 3 episodes a week worked better.
The storylines are long and painful (like the Leanne / Nick saga). There's not much comedy unless Evelyn's around. |

I agree about 3 episodes I think all the soaps are all better on reduced episodes.

Corrie was way better during lockdown when we had three episodes.
I also kinda feel it’s more because of how they’re shown. With Emmerdale it doesn’t feel as bad as they don’t do doubles three times a week if they aired them one episode a weeknight then one day have the extra one it’d be ok but the cliffhangers just don’t really give you the need to wanna watch. It’s like I’m just watching out of habit than enjoyment. |
