Steven Gerrard has been a great player and will deserve to get a good send-off from Liverpool supporters at the end of the season. However, I hope Liverpool get knocked out of the Cup soon. I've already heard far too many references to the fact that the final is on Gerrard's birthday.

Friday? well at least it's on BBC One this time and not BT Sport which you have to pay extra for. Although to be fair matches that are shown on BT Sport or Sky Sports I would normally stream anyway.

Not sure why the Liverpool Bolton match is on? Unless there's a high chance of an upset laugh.gif Rochdale v Stoke could be dire too.

I'd have shown Birmingham v West Brom personally - local derby with the Championship team at home. It'd be a great atmosphere and Birmingham surely have a good chance of a result.

I think it's probably down to ratings. I've no idea why they've chosen the Liverpool match either really, but I think it would bring in a bigger audience than Chelsea vs Milwall & Birmingham vs West Brom. End of the day ratings is the winning game for the broadcasters.

Its on BT Sport though, so the audience would be quite small either way. The two matches on the BBC are much more appealing I think anyway.

I think maybe the reason why they're showing Liverpool's FA Cup match live again is that they are trying to paint a picture that Liverpool will reach the FA Cup final this season to be played on Steven Gerrard's birthday which could potentially be his last ever match for the club.

It's like last season all of Arsenal's FA Cup matches were shown live on TV and I remember in the 2010/11 season a large proportion of Manchester City's matches were shown live on ITV.

Massive replay going on between West Ham and Everton right now. Both probably won't qualify for Europe and neither are going down - both however can foreseeably have a run to Wembley!

Goalless at half time, plenty of chances for both teams so anyone's guess whos gonna go through.

Looking more likely it could be West Ham. They're 1-0 up thanks to a Enner Valencia goal and Everton are down to 10 men.

Tomorrow live on BBC1. The third round replay between Ipswich and Southampton. Any chance of a possible upset??

^ Potentially. Ipswich are doing great in the Championship right now and have an in-form striker in Daryl Murphy. Plus, Mick McCarthy is a very canny manager. However, they may choose to prioritse promotion and Southampton may just have that touch of class.

Still a cracking game at West Ham. Good to see both sides showing a desire to win.

Chesterfield have taken the lead against Scunthorpe so are on target for a Derbyshire derby with Derby! That's a mouthful laugh.gif
