finally original release. 'firestone' is put out there on 1st december. should have a big year next year where i fully expect tropical house to take over the mainstream.

I hope this is what the commercial dance scene sounds like next year, so innovative with just the perfect combination of minimalism. I can't say I'm quite hooked yet but it works very well, how is he signed to Syco tho?

This is an odd one even though it shouldn't be, but I'm really loving it at the moment. In some ways, the breakdown sounds quite generic (which for me wouldn't be a problem anyway) but yet it's stripped back at the same tone. The vocals are absolutely superb aswell. I don't really like dance much when it's more minimalistic, which is why some of the dance songs that have made it big this year have passed me by, but there's something about this as a whole package which works terrifically.

This grows on me the more I listen to it. Even found myself singing it over and over at work today!
 I'm hoping it will get a proper push/radio support at some point soon as its hovering around the lower end of the Top 40 Dance Chart but deserves so much better! |
