Ok I’m out by a day but can anyone else believe that it’s been a year since this album came out? I was so excited to get my copy and had had such a long week at work. My brother unexpectedly turned up at my house because he had no internet access at his and the neighbours were having a really loud party so I was still pretty stressed at home. I felt so much better hearing this. I loved this more mature Pink and still have a real soft spot for the wonderfully dated Revenge and hearing Eminem sing! I’m a little sad that the album hasn’t had the legs in the Chart that she normally has but it has sold respectfully in the current climate.

Wow a whole year! *.* Still loving a lot of the songs of here even if I haven't really gone back to it much recently :/ Other than Secrets which still gets regular plays from me, definitely an album highlight for me wub.gif

I'm kind of glad Revenge didn't get a single push in the end as like you said it does sound very dated and I doubt it would've had the chart success you would imagine these two would get together (similar to Taylor/Ed/Future's End Game). I still remember the radio playing the entire album all the way through on release day over here! The album (deservedly) spent 11 weeks in the Top 2 and What About Us was #1 for two weeks. A great era for her I think even if none of the follow-up singles had half as much success, which I think is only due to them all being post-album singles

I can't believe its been a year already ohmy.gif Its definitely one of her best albums and for me its up there with Missundaztood and Try This.

I went out on release day, even though I was off sick from work after having an op, and went to HMV for the cd and vinyl wub.gif

I surprised this album isn’t getting a reissue!

It's a really good album, I really enjoy it but I don't find myself going back to it *that* often.

It's a much better overall piece than The Truth About Love anyway.

Listened to this im full today For the first time since around January.

Really good album. Liked it more than I initially thought some tracks which I wasn’t too keen on I now like (Better Life, You Get My Love). Her second UK #1 album too and her first number one album since 2008 was such a moment to see her get it i was imaging she’d get yet another #2 or #3 for weeks before hand.

Barbies, Secrets, I Am Here and Wild Hearts are all 10/10 and What About Us is an absolute gem of a song and her best lead single since Get The Party Started for me.

TTAL is still my fave album of hers though which seems to be a lot of peoples least favourites across forums.

Re entered the album chart this week too at #55 probably due to the UK tour being announced.

Agreed with all this! I listened to this the other day after not listening to it since probably the beginning of the year. No particular reason why that's the case, as it is a great album. As great as the highs on The Truth About Love are, I agree that this album works better as a whole. It's more progressive in its sound and themes. What About Us is a great example of touching on what styles are popular at the moment yet still feeling distinctly P!nk. Whatever You Want, Secrets, I Am Here and (I know I'm probably alone here) You Get My Love are among my faves.

It was a pleasant surprise when she released it.
