Returns on March 5th, a lot earlier than last year! It seems that the focus is on Matt, Rory and Chris this time, trying to emulate that three lads dynamic again. |

There have been a lot more good reviews for this than last year, even on Twitter where negativity is the usual. I think, in an odd way, it needed an unpopular presenter for last year as, whatever they did, it would be unpopular. That then leaves room for improvement for this year where people can reflect and go, oh yes its a lot better than last year, I'll continue to watch this year. It was definitely better than they didn't immediately try to recreate the three lads trio straight away.
It got just under 3m last night which Liam says is better than all but the opener of last year's series. I think there is potential for the series to grow its audience through the series, or at least maintain around the 3m figure as people warm to the new trio who are far less marmite than Chris Evans. |

Caught the first episode yesterday. I didn't see much of the last series but it's definitely better than what I saw. The fact that it focuses on all three of them is better than when the focus was just on Chris and Matt and the others were a lot further down the ladder. Still not warming to Matt as much as I am the other two though

Chis Harris will be joined by...... Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff for the next series
Rory is reducing his role but will still be a part of the show in a similar vein to Sabine. |

I'm very happy with that! I thought Rory was a bit boring tbh.

This will be interesting. Big question is will they help bring back some of the lost audience to the show?

The line-up is changing more than the Sugababes did, I honestly can't be bothered trying to keep up with it all now.

I might try to watch this just to see how it is with the new presenters, but it will never be the same as when Clarkson, Hammond and May were on it.

I watched it, it takes some getting used to but they have at least captured some of the banter that Clarkson, Hammond and May had in this one, as well as doing interesting adventures etc.
It's certainly way better than the last couple of attempts at making Top Gear as good as it was when they were on it. |

Top Gear is moving to BBC One for the next series later this year.
This is quite the turnaround for a show that looked on the verge of cancellation after Chris Evans' ill fated series! The new line-up has been great and really rejuvenated the show, so it's well deserved. |
