Shania and Carrie Underwood are my ultimate faves. Looking forward to when either of them announces a headlining UK date (of their own!)

Not mad keen on Sam Hunt or Miranda Lambert but they have a couple of good songs each. There aren't many others I dislike; I like them all really. Gutted to have missed C2C this year with Darius Rucker and Zac Brown Band though!

I'd definitely say Ward Thomas are my favourite country act at the moment - really enjoyed their Cartwheels album and the singles from their debut were fab too. Catherine is absolutely lovely too and was great meeting her/Lizzie last month at their Oxford show!

Close behind would have to be Una Healy, Hunter Hayes and The Shires. I've got albums from Jason Aldean and Ashley Monroe that I need to give another spin as the same with Dan & Shay, who I really liked on first listen!

Not here for the drabble T Swiz has produced with her old stuff though.

Adding a vote here for Little Big Town. Generally bigger on country pop ballads.

Ex-Eurovision Common Linnets do some great crossover too, and Pink's Rose Ave project was also pretty solid.

I love Girl Crush and Better Man but I'm not a fan of their upbeat stuff

Carrie Underwood, Taylor and Miranda Lambert are my faves, Carnival Ride, Some Hearts by Carrie as well as Revolution by Miranda Lambert are in my top 20 of all of time and probably one at least from Taylor's country days.

From newer country artists, Sam Hunt and Maren Morris are the ones for me, I love that they bring something new but still fit so well into the country paradigm. I love Kacey Musgraves as well.

Nathan Carter has very much grown on me as of late. He has a a few some catchy numbers. I have purchased 2 albums by him, with each album i like half the songs and the other halves are just to old style country for my liking.

A lot of my faves are straight-up country rather than country-pop, but Little Big Town is my fave group and they play around with multiple genres (jealous you're gonna see them live Jamesy!). Lady Antebellum does too. Thomas Rhett definitely crosses into pop and his output's been outstanding lately, same with Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt and Maren Morris. Carrie Underwood has great pop crossovers too along with her country output, and Lauren Alaina's 'Road Less Traveled' is a recent fave, I haven't listened to the rest of her album though!
