I just got around to listening to this album, and I love it! I've never been too big into Gorillaz before, but this album has definitely converted me.

I like all the songs in this album, but my standouts are Humility, Kansas and Souk Eye.

It's not that I don't like this album, but I feel like it just lacks a bit of... oomph. Humility still sounds good but I'm struggling to really go back to Hollywood not on the album just because of how long it is laugh.gif The album is growing on me for sure but I definitely prefer Humanz so far

Set to debut at #5 in the UK. Not a terrible opening considering there hasn't been a fraction of much hype as there was for Humanz, plus the fact they've released the same week as Drake & Florence + The Machine who they were never going to outsell

I absolutely love the Superorganism remix of Humility.

I've got to be honest that before the album was released the singles killed any excitement for the album - none of them really stood out, though “Humility” has somewhat grown on me after hearing it lots and lots, perhaps the hot summer has helped - but on listening to the album there are some better tracks buried on The Now Now like “Kansas” and “Souk Eye” that they didn't release as the first 'singles' for some reason.

I need more certified BANGERS like “Strobelite” so I don't think I'll be revisiting this album much sadly.. : (

The video for Tranz is releasing tomorrow! It's one of my favourites from the album, so I can't wait. biggrin.gif

Good video. Unfortunately the album still hasn’t hit me yet. I’ll try and have another listen over the weekend see if I can change my mind.
