I honestly don't get why all my news topics gets moved to the Random News thread, nobody looks for GaGa news in that thread its meant to be posted on the forum page in seperate topics or there's never going to be any discussion on the news UNLESS they get their own topics..and this does deserve a topic, it isnt "random" news at all

Which I don't think is fake at all just btw.. |

Kath there is no need for the attitude. There are so many news articles on GaGa daily and most of them are pointless and don't warrant new threads. If you feel they do then feel free to make one but don't moan or sulk if it gets merged if the mods think it doesn't deserve a thread. It would be easy for this forum to get messy with the constant news stories on her but remember, you are not a mod, so I would appreciate you not telling me and Ry how to run the forum.

 , but just moving people's topics without consulting them is just rude. . Some of the news I do post, arent "random", the news that are random I post in the random thread. All the other forums don't have one News thread, one news thread is just a mess and makes it difficult to discuss them when so much news comes in simultaneously. Plus the news thread is hidden right at the top where noone really bothers to view. Surely a full forum is better than an empty one? It's not "telling you how to run a forum" at all, it's just a suggestion.. I didnt give any attitude at all, only frustrtation.. No need to be overdramatic.. I mean moaning and sulking?  This is only the internet. Was only a suggestion Ethereal, not a personal attack. I mean come on =/ taking things COMPLETELY the wrong way lol. .

Your use of ' ' and the whole tone was full of attitude and came across as sulking to me because you didn't get your own way. We're not going to PM people everytime a topic is merged. It's not like they have been moved to another part of the forum and are difficult to find.Firstly, there isn't just "one news thread" as you put it. That is one thread for small, random news. No where did we ever say every piece of news had to go in there and I don't expect it at all as obviously big news deserve their own thread. Secondly, "hidden right at the top" really is contradictory. The topics that are pinned are there so they are seen, it doesn't make them hidden at all. If you get no comments on a news article posted in that thread than it is probably because there is not much discussion to be had on it, hence why it deserves to be in that thread in the first place. This forum will always be full but if every news article got its own thread, you would get current singles dropping back to page 3 for example.

I'm not meaning anything intentionaly rude or anything, and I'm not out for getting my way.. I just think your taking a minor suggestion completely out of proportion..
There were just a few occasions where I posted topic-worthy news and it disappeared into a thread where minimal discussion takes place. Compare the threads that aren't pinned and their views with the thread that are pinned and their views = major difference. But like you said, newsworthy news can have their own topics.. That's all I wanted to know.. I just thought you were merging all news into a single thread but that's now not the case. But thanks for clearing up, was just a little annoyed but now with your clarity I'm not. And if it came across as rude or attitude, I'm sorry and in all honesty when I was posting it no intentions of attitude or sulking were implied, guess it's just a very direct suggestion so I sincerely apologize

I apologise too for being defensive. If a news topic ever gets merged and you feel it's not justified, please PM me or Ry and state why and we can re-make it in its own thread again.Back to this thread, I think Miley is talking rubbish. Her songwriter/producer self is the same as her popstar self so I don't see what she's on about tbh.

In fairness Kath, as the moderator of this forum Ethereal is well within his right to do as he wishes with any thread he wishes without consulting anybody...
