About time someone opened this. We now have a title and single cover:
Premieres/Premiered today on Coachella. Colour me excited
oh yesss
SO excited. this will be fab / my soty / AMAZING.
omggggggggggggggg ashaasaskhiah YAAAAAAAAAASSSS
So excited to hear this
Come Over is by far the best Clean Bandit song.
Marina might actually get a hit? Who'd have thunk it.
This could have the potential to be VERY good.
Please don't disappoint.
Everything about this sounds amazing.
moving on so quickly from 'Stronger' is a bit surprising I guess but YAY for new material and Marina this better slay
oooh this sounds promising, so many new dance tracks coming out lately
Someone from https://instagram.com/p/1WdCt2BwUn/?taken-by=neilfandits has very kindly recorded some clips of the performance.
MARINA OMG
I saw the Coachella performance and this sounds so good! Ahhh! I'm stoked.
I did too and it sounds so strong!
From the full performance it's actually a bit disappointing to me. Never goes anywhere, chorus is an anti climax, it's all very Forget but with less breezy euphoria. And it def doesn't sound like a hit.
We'll see.
Yeah, it really doesn't sound massively different from anything on her album tbh. I really like it and think it sounds very strong, but can't see it being another big Clean Bandit hit. It just doesn't sound like one.
I love it
This sounds so 70's!
Not a big fan. I don't really care for Clean Bandit in general so I'm not too surprised but was hoping it'd be better.
I am in LOVE with the verses, but yeah the chorus is slightly disappointing but I think it's a very production and beat focused one and so I'm sure it will sound a lot greater in HQ.
I don't think it sounds like anything on FROOT, but it wouldn't sound much out of place had it been on it. I would have easily placed it among the first half, probably between Froot & I'm a Ruin.
I know it's hard to say at this stage, but I have a feeling when the HQ surfaces this will reveal itself to be the best thing Clean Bandit have ever turned their hand to.
Maybe she should join as a permanent band member?
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm getting 2K15 'Get Lucky' vibes from this.
I'm afraid I'm not feeling it yet
I'm crying
http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/clean-bandit-disconnect/
It's very radio friendly and I think the catchy production and Marina's vocal hooks will be more prominent in the studio version
She looked so beautiful in that gold jumpsuit [img]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ed2305b7.png[/i
mg]
It's so hard to properly judge something when the first version you hear is a live version. It has potential to be big I reckon, the chorus seems quite earwormy. If it really is Clean Bandit's lead-in single for their 2nd album it'll be sure to be a top 10 for Marina at very least. Let's just hope commercial radios don't do a Pray to God and avoid it because it has an indie-singer as a feature.
Did anyone watch Clean Bandit's whole set? The girl who sang SLAYED, is she a member of the band? All their singles sound so much better with her vocals
I don't like it. The chorus is weak. Perhaps it will grow on me.
Agreed.
I actually find the chorus much stronger than the verses. I NEED the studio version in my life!
Sounds promising ~ can't wait for the studio version!
I agree this is giving off 'Get Lucky' vibes~
The 'I go out all night, I got home alone' lyric - feels very frooty.
Also, 'I've been calling exes' - feels like a nod to 'Weeds'.
While the structure of the song is very Clean Bandit, I like that Marina's identity is within the song and lyrics, it feels like a real collaboration, because they wrote it together. 'Changing' didn't feel very Paloma to me. I'm sure more of the Clean Bandit elements will be prominent when we hear the proper version.
What is she wearing though
https://vimeo.com/124720342
I just wish the chorus was actually just a pre-chrous or part one of a two-part chorus with an euphoric break into a more upbeat refrain like Rather Be or Real Love. Still adoring the verses though, and the actual chorus is a damn good ear worm but yeah just not as !!! as I would've liked and come to expect from a Clean Bandit single.
Her voice gives me goosebumps
Omg I love her so much
I love how it still remains a Marina song rather than how 'Changing' was completely different to what Paloma had done before. While I think that suited Paloma, I'm not sure it would suit Marina as well.
I think it's a great song and I particularly love the verses, and with every Marina song, the lyrics. It's not a hit though, no moreso than the obvious could-be singles from 'Froot'. It doesn't have that BIG chorus like 'Real Love' or 'Rather Be' have.
I think the chorus on this is stronger and punchier than the one on 'Real Love'.
I mean, all that essentially is, is just "this is real, real, real, real loooove".
I think what makes this most striking is that it's more complex with varying hooks and ad-libs instead of the typical verse-big choru
s form
The ad-libs are the absolute highlight for me
This sounds great on first listen! Can't wait for studio version.
Really can't wait to hear this properly, I can see this doing well if Radio 1 back it and given its a Clean Bandit track and not a Marina track I can see them getting behind it!
I think the vocals production will be better on the actual version and thus it will probably sound better as it seems to rest a lot on Marina's voice and gimmicks to carry the hook.
Overall, it doesn't exactly sound like the hit she needs, but if they make it a single and somehow get radio support for it, it should make the top 10, even if just to drop out like a stone the week after. I'll still take that over a total flop.
When are we going to hear this in studio quality?

I don't get why some people don't see the potential this has to be massive. The production alone sounds fantastic and that's judging by the live version.
The production sounds fantastic but I always feel underwhelmed by the vocal of Marina and The Diamonds.
Has a release date for this been announced yet?
No, but since Stronger will be heading out of the top 40 within the next couple of weeks, I expect to hear something soon.
I'm hoping for an August release, with the video out in July.
~Rumour~ Officially premiering today, released 25th September. *.*
I read this earlier, but the only source seems to be that Josep Vinaixa site and I'm not sure if I trust it. I hope it's true though, but I won't be convinced until either Clean Bandit or Marina say something!
I've been waiting for this!
Out on June 25.
From http://www.noise11.com/news/new-music-releases-for-23-june-2017-20170623:
Ffs
Is it a single or just something they're putting out there?
OMG YAAAAAAAAAAAASS
Sunday release though?
Is this just going to be a hype single then or is is the official followup to Symphony?
and why are they releasing it on Sunday?
It could be an instant grat for an album release I guess so that the release wouldn't matter :lo:
YESSSS. I can die happy knowing we're getting this at long last (however we're getting it)
Haha I imagine this is going to be a case of instant grat with album pre-order so that the fans will finally be happy!
I don't think I've been in this thread before but OMG that collab. I am hyped.
OH THANK GOD.
I think there's still hope for this getting a single push with Symphony already falling
YASSSSSS!!!!! I can't believe we're finally getting it and it won't just be hidden on the album
Its coming tomorrow though (Marina just tweeted she has a surpise tomorrow)
LIKE WUUUUUT
not a huge fan of Marina but she's adorable sometimes
and hurrah for the people who are finally getting heart attacks from the actual release of Disconnect!
probably I'm gonna like this in a month or so
Yes, I won't get to excited until I see it in iTunes though.
Also just realised that the 25th is this Sunday, 2 days away. For some reason my mind was stuck in last week.
YAY. I wonder how high this can debut - I mean Marina isn't the biggest collab in the world but I'd reckon it could have a top 20 debut based on hype...? Opinions?
(very excited for this!)
Marina could use more fame tbh
HYPE!
Nice one, probably a grat but still.
Also, yet another 2015 song being released as if it was new in 2017! (like Be The One, the Bakermat/Kiesza song, Mura Masa's Firefly...)
I'm still shook that this is actually happening
Hasn't been released
Marina has tweeted that a surprise is coming tomorrow afternoon which Clean Bandit has retweeted
It screams instant grat then
It could still be a proper single though couldn't it?
Do we still not have this?
It's been two years already, don't keep me hanging on any longer.
Whatever it is is coming at 3pm!

It's cute. I can see why it wasn't a single though.
Some actual new music from Marina now please?
so sounds pretty similar to the old 2015 live version that was on YT.
Not bad but clearly not on the same league as Rockabye, Tears, and the big CB singles
It's been on Spotify since 2015? Wtf.
I get the feeling this isn't a single nor is it on their album and is just being released now as a gift to fans.
I was just about to say exactly the same, they've probably finalised the track listing and know they'd get loads of hate if this wasn't on there so they've got it out there before that happens.
Have they not confirmed numerous times it is on their album though?
They said in an interview before that they tried to change the production to make it pop, but went back to the original in the end. It is very flat, sadly.
It's pretty good, no chance of #1 though but that was unlikely anyway.
This ia pretty great
I mean, it's good but maybe I was expecting more because you guys have been hyping it for almost 2 years
It is a decent album track but not single worthy at all.
I would of lived for this two years ago, but it's a little dire now.
As with everything they do, it's great. However, it's probably not on par with their other singles from this era.. It's apt that it should be titled 'Disconnect' because it's nothing like the other singles from this album..
sounding good on first listen (didn't bother listening to the live version when that was floating around), agree that it doesn't sound like a hit but I don't think it's meant to be a commercial release. wouldn't surprise me if the above theory of it just being a fan single is correct (though I'd like it to appear on the album personally).
It hits me on the first listen, love it !
It does sound a bit bland, but it fits with the theme of "Disconnect", as in wanting to extract yourself from the reality for the time being.
Not bad, but definitely sounds like a grat. Also it feels like they branched away from this kind of thing earlier. This sounds like the kind of tune they might've released in place of the poppier 'Stronger', instead of going down that direction (which was probably more lucrative).
well, I found myself singing along at the end of the song
despite the fact that I quite hated it 2 yrs ago
kudos to Clean Bandit for releasing the appropriate version of the track they were in doubts about for so long
Actually, the one thing I'm struggling to get my head around with the studio version is the "ooooh oooh", sounding like the sound randomly cuts out for a second.
WELL marina sounds amazing on this, but was expecting more production wise, especially from the wait we had
Yeah this is a bit crap ngl. Seems as though there's something... missing from it, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.
It's missing oomph
This isn't as good as their last three (or four including Stronger actually) singles, but it's pretty nice anyway. Not sure I'd be keen on it being a proper single but I do hope it's on the album.
Love it so so so much!! My Queen is back!!
Something about this seems incomplete...
marina on stage with clean bandit at glasto rn! looking and sounding fab *.*
This is a nice bop, but I agree it's not the smash it needs to be as a single It's fab to finally have it though and I do really like it, but it has nothing on Tears, Symphony or Rockabye which were of course absolute bangers.
I know it's only a grat but not even top 40 on iTunes
Just heard this. It's definitely not as strong as their last three songs. I think this will struggle. It just isn't that good.
I think they've legit just put it out to shut up the Marina fans who keep asking about it, as something nice until the album
This album announcement better be coming soon then
Oh the production is a lot more different to what I was expecting considering people were saying it was the same as the live perfomrance but I don't think so!
I can kind of tell that they had difficulties trying to find the right production and I don't think the final result is perfect. BUT I'M SO HAPPY THAT WE FINALLY HAVE A STUDIO VERSION after all this time <3
Isn't what I was expecting, but I still love it!
Thanks Clean Bandit!
I do love this!

Interesting interview too: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-40384969
Agreed that this is good but not great, would be a worthy album track but never a single without a rework.
I think it sounds lovely and summery! And it's growing on me with each listen.
i think this is utterly SPELLBINDING
f*** me, it's a tall order to create something like this...
bandit and marina are perfection together; no surprise she's dating one of those lads!
pop really doesn't get better than this
I think something like that is what it needs, I'd say that this peaks in the first 90 seconds and then just sort of meanders it's way to the end from there. That said I do keep playing this (and I was never obsessed with the live version) so something's very good about it!
I think this is quite the jam actually
I'm surprised by the lukewarm reception to this from some on here. This is one of their best for me.
I much prefer this to Symphony, which I thought was a bit generic!
This, to me, is very much a signature sound of their New Eyes album and wouldn't have sounded out of place on there. If I'm honest it would've made a perfect bridge single between the two eras to tide people over. Nonetheless, the song is still amazing
This works in theory, but the track just goes nowhere, despite great vocals from Marina and good production from Clean Bandit. I really wanted everyone and myself to love it though and for Marina to have some sort of hit. Can they go in a record a new song please?
It kind of feels like they've already brushed this under the rug. It wasn't added to hot songs and they didn't even bother changing the tag from 2015 to 2017 on Spotify, so it remains burried on there.
I'm still shocked it's not top 100 in the first set of the midweeks.
I definitely think this was released to shut up Marina fans
It's good and Marina sounds incredible on it. I just feel like it should be a lot stronger than what it currently is.
I can now see why this was never seen as a serious single, just lacking any punch unlike the majority of their hits.
Sad that after years of waiting this finally came out, was met by disappointed opinions from most and did absolutely nothing despite Clean Bandit just coming off the back of 3 humongous hits and has been swept under the carpet.
It'd be good if Marina could collab with them again on something a bit better. I'd love her to get a hit.
Was it even meant to do anything though? It kind of felt to me that they just put it out there to shut the people up who'd been moaning at them for years, kind of almost like it got the same treatment as an instant grat or something.
I think it is a seriously brilliant song, but in hindsight it was missing key elements from the live Coachella version. Like, more funk guitars in the verses, more strings in the chorus, the more upbeat disco-esque build-up to the chorus.
Doubt Disconnect will be on their album.
Wasn't really too sure about this at first but I find myself playing it a lot on Spotify and I think it's grown to be a lovely track & up there with their best now imo. Maybe it's something that would have perhaps done a bit better 3 years ago.
It's an amazing song, why is it just a promo single? It should be a proper single!!!
Agree. Also it was very obviously made in 2015, and is stalling on the charts. Clean Bandit have been going poppier and poppier with their latest releases and it's been paying dividends in #1s. This track, much as I personally like it, is just not as pop or on-trend as Rockabye or Symphony.
If they've got collabs with Jess Glynne and Sam Smith in the works, there's no way I can see it being a good idea to promote this instead. Marina's not exactly a big name draw compared.
