Tangled Up is not just their best album, but one of my all-time favourite albums. It's barnstorming pop album with no holds barred. Even the weaker songs are still very strong in my eyes.

It has to be Tangled Up for my vote too.
It is the stand out album from them. In order of preference: 01 Tangled Up. 02 Out of Control. 03 What Will the Neighbours Say? 04 Sound of the Underground. 05 Chemistry. |

I really enjoyed out of control but tangled up despite its awful cover is their best album.

Glad to see Out of Control as best of the rest, so far. For me it is such a sublime album, and pretty damn cohesive too (barring ‘We Wanna Party’, which was thankfully tacked onto the end and not placed somewhere in the middle!).
It’s my favourite, but I knew Tangled Up would be the runaway winner! |

I had thought Tangled Up may possibly win but i expected more challenges from the other albums.
It is a deserving winner as it is their most solid body of work. That said, Out of Control was a wonderful follow up and also a solid album and i would welcome it staying in second place. |

Tangled Up has a lot of filler on it... I mean, the likes of Crocodile Tears, Damn, I'm Falling, What You Crying For etc. prevent it from being a solid album, as much as there's great stuff.

My vote goes to 'Tangled Up' for sure as it's pop perfection 'Out Of Control' would be second and 'Sound of The Underground' last, the latter is the only one of their albums that I don't feel particularly compelled to revisit all that often.

Their debut at the time of release was good but age has not worked in its favour.
On reflection it does fall short against all their other albums. Their albums improved with time and it was their last 2 albums where they really did look like they had found their true sound. |
