A third week at the top for Elohim as Half Love shows no sign of ceding the top spot. It becomes the longest running chart topper so far this year. If only I could send it to BJSC! (Although no promises that you won't see anything that's been on my chart recently for Jupiterdonia this month!) Rainsford holds steady in the top 5 to be joined by new ascendants from James Bay, Deaf Havana and JLo; it's James Bay's first time this high. Hayley Kiyoko, Sia's Audio and Friendly Fires also reach new peaks within the top ten this week as they're joined by new risers DJ Koze and Jhene Aiko with her sixth top ten from Trip, and first since the chart-topping Sativa back in March. Expect her to follow this up sooner rather than later; she has a Sean Paul collab on his newly-released latest album that I'm loving already. Within the top 20, Inna rebounds to get another top 20 hit that may still go higher, Anne-Marie takes another step of her slow ascent with 2002, and Tove Lo, Years & Years and Sabrina Carpenter fire up.
Brand new entries this week again come mainly near the bottom, with this week's highest being a re-entry for POOLCLVB and Røse with a track that peaked at #25 last year. It's a great chill summer bop. The highest brand new one this week is close behind, Sigala's new one with Sean Paul, Fuse ODG and Kent Jones. Other newies this week come from Troye, Nao, Fonsi and Stefflon Don, Gold/Shade, Martin Garrix, Beyonce and Jay-Z as The Carters, SOPHIE, Niia, a belated entry for Lorde who finally charts a fourth tune from Melodrama, Yellow Claw, and M0 with Steel Banglez, an inspired if random collab.

Half Love still at #1! 
Admittedly I am really liking it now, especially the chorus which is stuck in my head 
Nice to see Feels Like Home enter, glad it's at least got Top 100 status to its name although maybe it can climb? Hope so anyway!
Ocean has grown on me also, probably my favourite thing Khalid has put his name to (bar maybe 1-800?)

'The Louvre' is an unexpected but very welcome new entry here! The Louvre featuring in The Carters' music video impact? haha, seriously though, it is certainly a highlight from Melodrama for me... very classy and it builds up incredibly <3 speaking of The Carters, I very much approve of 'APESHIT' impacting here, what an absolute tune! I'm glad it got to see the light of day in the chart after originally being a Migos song or something. Finally, yayyyy at 'Bloom' appearing here, what a gorgeous synthy moment from him! Bring on the album after how much I'm loving this, the Ariana collab and 'My My My!'

Back from my holidays so a quick drop in of the new entry links for now!
Highest new entry goes to a re-entry from POOLCLVB and Røse. It charted briefly towards the end of last year but is sounding amazing this summer. This was one I considered for BJSC this month before ultimately plumping for Rainsford.
The Louvre is a welcome return for Lorde and is also sounding great this year. I was a bit overloaded by Melodrama last year and so didn't chart so many tracks from it. SOPHIE's It's Okay To Cry is one I hadn't come across til now and DOLF, Yellow Claw and Caroline Pennell is another late charter that nearly made it in earlier in the year but just missed out.
Four strong new entries in a row see Troye, Stefflon and Sean Paul adding to their tallies this year, and Nao returning triumphantly after a short break with a song that finally brings her back to the heights of her early stuff. She's one of a few acts I became a fan of after seeing them live, which I did in...I think 2014 or so, supporting Little Dragon.
Gold/Shade and Niia are another pair of less well-known acts. Niia I also considered for BJSC this month but was put off by the slightly NSFW video which I feel like harmed my total a bit with Femme En Fourrure.
And finally some well-known acts land new tracks this week. Martin Garrix's Ocean is thus far his first non-chart-topping entry for me after three in a row last year. Yxng Bane and M0 gain new notches to their belt alongside Steel Banglez on their chart debut, and finally of course, Beyonce returns with the awesome APESHIT and of course her underwhelming husband. Rough with the smooth. This is still only her fifth or sixth charter for me as pre-Lemonade, I really wasn't a fan.
