Did you add deductions in for non-voters? Apologies if I missed it, my top 10 return could happen if not x

Pleasantly surprised by how well I did with this though, it was possibly the laziest selection of an entry ever (guess how I found it kink.gif) but I wasn't all that taken by the few other Surinamese sounds I heard and the song was pretty instantly catchy for me and I'm pleased it went down well with others too and makes up for my floppage last time.

Congrats to Lotunia, that did sound like a really big song and is typically wonderful from Finnish pop so no complaints. The two list-of-three titled entries were beautiful, Trifoski and Persephonia also sounded like classic worldvision quirky picks so pleased to see all of those do well.

Congrats Noche, oops I said on SyncTube that this song didn't really give me winner vibes so me being wrong again x It was a nice song though and got a couple of points from me so happy with that as the winner! Justice for 'Sabotage' though.

Yayyy at me hanging onto top 5, definitely a much better result than I expected (was a pretty last minute find, I instantly loved it for its instrumental but still thought it was a fairly niche sound that could have easily gone down like a lead balloon especially with the barely audible vocals)! I think that's my 2nd highest finish in Worldvision and iirc I still haven't ever come top 3 in any spinoff (excluding BJFestivalen) but this one adding to a decent handful of 4th-5th place finishes ~

Land of DW would have made a fantastic winner so a little aw at that narrowly missing out but 2nd is still great ofc. Very surprised but pleased to see Dobago finishing so high, also very pleasingly high for Jadakissnia (Jadaphonia finishing back to back *.*) and great to see Pestolia top 10 as well, I actually liked their entry more than my own so almost a little gutted to see them below me haha.

I voted for Cor Lupus and Danæviia too - and Terra Avium who should be top 10 when the deductions are applied x (edit: I see this has been addressed already) - so it's great to see a set of results that I actually feel in touch with, if only the main contests could be like this kink.gif

Thanks for hosting uhsting jump.gif think we should probably give Worldvision a rest for a little while now especially as we had two of them this year, maybe can do another one in 2024.

Glad to have made a top 10 after a pretty shitty start! I get to finish the year with all top 10’s in spin-offs cheer.gif Three 18’s is a pretty good haul, thanks to Silas/John/Harry for the gold medals! heart.gif heart.gif also congrats to Noche, another really good slice of Finnish pop.

Great job on the hosting job uhsting! Sucks that this edition didn’t have as many participants but it felt a little more relaxed and intimate than previous iterations. Perfect for the holidays heart.gif now where’s the hot chocolate?

I really like the result personally. Glad to see Dobago so high. We want more of these entries in BJSC x I was right about Lotunia sounding really big. I do think this entry could've done really well in normal BJSC. Land of DW and Trifoski rounding up the top 3 is amazing, considering they probably would not do that well in the main contest. Overall, I agree with the top 10. This is also my first time being in the top half too, so thank you very much! wub.gif

WHOAAA we killed it in Worldvision again! chose the most difficult of the two options we were given, finished above much more buzzjack-friendly entries...the song was a last-minute swap too, glad I went with the right one!

Also still shook that the random Kyrgyz artist I found by Googling 'Kyrgyzstan post-punk' (kink.gif this wasn't actually a post-punk song at all but still that being a reliable Google search term to find some good stuff) turned out to also happen to be based in Tokyo meaning I did both the country and city that I was assigned.

Oh, shall I retract my 10 points? You did well with Indonesia, I enjoyed that one.

Congratulations to Lotunia, a Séyetan alumni winning these things is always good to see, Chisu never misses. Great to see Trifoski doing so well too.

I eventually found a Polish rock song I liked, glad to see it getting a few points here and there, so thank you guys!

oh and the text in my votes was lyrics from Sabaton's 'Winged Hussars', just a bit of random Polish nationalism.

First of all, thank you for hosting uhsting (and ty for the 12 points x)! Has been very fun to take part this time, even tho the numbers of participants are a little lower than usual. With that being said, I'm very happy to see Suriname, Cabo Verde, Farao Islands and Kyrgyzstan in the top 10. Finally, thank you all for the points and the win happy.gif Worldvision itself is by far my favorite of the spin-offs here, so i'm happy to have actually won an edition. A little confession, I was actually going to send a folk band representing Türkiye. However, I discovered that they were only based there and that almost none of the members were actually turkish - probably would not have done as well as "Mysteeri" ended up doing laugh.gif .
Anyway, I wish you all a happy holiday season!
