Running for the next three weeks in the 'Graham Norton Show' slot, the BBC's showcase of several new comedy pilots.
The first one, 'Tim Vine Travels in Time', was on last night, and is on iPlayer now. It was very old school style comedy - Frankie Howerd, Eric Morecambe etc - which I know isn't for everyone in this age of snobbery at 'obvious' comedy but I loved it! Funniest thing on the BBC since Miranda. Really hope they commission a series, there's a gap in the schedules for this kind of show! |

The third of the pilots was just on tonight - 'Static' written by and starring Rob Beckett and also with Alison Steadman. Really funny show, I was getting Gavin and Stacey vibes from it. Could see this getting a full series!
