Which movie is your all-time favourite horror film?
For me, it would be The Shining, Alien, Jaws, The Silence of The Lambs, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. |

'The Conjuring' is my favourite horror movie. 'Scream', '[REC]' & 'SAW' are right behind though!

Hostel is good, Hostel 2 even better.
I like the Saw franchise. The Babadook was certainly the eeriest/creepiest movie I've ever seen. The Purge series was a decent concept too. |

Think my top 10 would be:
01; The Shining 02; Halloween 03; A Nightmare on Elm Street 04; Psycho 05; Suspiria 06; The Birds 07; The Exorcist 08; Alien 09; Scream 10; The Blair Witch Project I'm very into the classics as I grew up with them and they all hold a place of nostalgia as well as being just generally excellent pieces of cinema, though what I look for in modern horror is much more the psychological and the extrapolating of our own trauma. The Babadook's a great example of this. Ari Aster (Hereditary, Midsommar) and Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse) are also recent directors who I've been very into. |

'The Exorcist' is the only movie I have ever lost sleep over, ever. I haven't seen it since I was like 11. I don't want to. Looking at images of Regan just sets everything off for me LMAO.

Alien, then Aliens. Not a fan of horror generally, but rewatched on Youtube the excellent early 60's amusing Vincent Price/Peter Lorre/Boris Karloff/and a very young Jack Nicholson movie The Raven. And comedy horror is the best, Young Frankenstein is still classic, and Love At First Bite is fun, a 70's disco-era Dracula, also on youtube and sadly forgotten these days.

I really like the movie Paranormal Activity. Only I like the first part. What was filmed later, it's not comparable.
