As Drake cruises to another week at the top, we could be seeing new entries in the singles chart from Dave, MoStack, DJ Khaled, XXXTENTACION and Bebe Rexha. Expect new peaks for Zedd, George Ezra and Sigala!

In the albums, we're sure to see the Greatest Showman at #1 again. New entries could come from UB40 featuring Ali, Astro & Mickey, Embrace, Tory Lanez and more.

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm.
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

The gap between #10 and #11 is 1.5k, not impossible to overcome but I think it'll be a tough ask unfortunately sad.gif

Embrace, Love is a Basic Need i was positive this would be a top 3 album. It now appears highly unlikely to stay top 4 and possibly miss the top 5.

At least it looks on course for a Top 10 placing which will be their seventh consecutive Studio Album to achieve that - the Album seems to have been released with not much publicity this time round.

I think Paradise & Lullaby wil stay in the Top 20, possibly push toward the top half.

Fantastic to see Blossoms at 67, hopefully it can stay around there. It's also good too see Meant to Be in the Top 40, hopefully it can push further.

The top 10 singles are looking dire, nice to see Portugal. The Man at #3 for now, I can see that falling a couple of places later in the week though, I think the top 6 are looking as non movers by Friday.

Never expected UB40 to enter the chart at #2, to me that looks safe enough above Ed Sheeran. Hope Embrace can stay inside the top 10.

Looking at those PSB albums they are going to keep on falling throughout the week just like their previous releases.

And lol at Alan Titchmarsh at #18 laugh.gif

A gap which will grow and grow through the week.

Incidentally Drake would be number 5 if ACR was applied - looking forward to that (1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-5) completely artificially abruptly ended chart run at #1 by ACR, with no doubt something selling less strongly than Rudimental given default #1 status. *.*

We're going to need a new name for a song granted #1 status by this unique situation; not ‘non-number 1’ but how about ‘fake #1’ apropos of fake news?

I really hope the OCC sort out the current ridiculous situation where a song can get to #1 without having the most chart sales in a week, I'd rather Drake stays at #1 for 12 weeks than it receiving an artificial drop after nine when it is still immensely popular. You'd think them having two fake #1s already during 'Despacito's run would be enough to give ACR a re-think but no.

The more realistic option for now is for Drake to drop a 'God's Plan' remix in week nine so that it doesn't fall in sales that week, or maybe even reducing it to 59p on iTunes could do it.

I expect the OCC will change something in July anyway, we've had ACR for long enough to see what works and doesn't and a lot of us think the rules needs rethinking. Whatever they do we'll still moan about it though, else we wouldn't be true chart fans. laugh.gif biggrin.gif
