'They Don't Really Care About Us' was one I appreciated more after MJ passed at the time.

'Bright Lights Big City' I quite liked at the time but not aged well now!

Doing this earlier this week due to being busy:

This Week:

2004- Mario Winans ft Enya & P Diddy- I Don't Wanna Know

'I Don't Wanna Know' was the first single from Mario Winans' second studio album 'Hurt No More' This would feature rapper P Diddy and background vocals from Enya. This song was based on a sample of The Fugees 'Ready Or Not' which in return sampled Enya's 'Boadicea. This would go on and peak at #1 in the UK and in the US this would peak at #2 and spent eight straight weeks at #2 behind both Usher singles 'Yeah!' and 'Burn'. As you know this got a remake from American record producer, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd and US rapper 21 Savage with their hit 'Creepin' which has peaked at #7 in the UK and faring better in the US where it would peak at #3. There was also an answer song to this called 'You Should Really Know' which was from a female prospective from producer The Pirates which would feature Shola Ama, Nalia Boss and Ishami as well as Enya. That song would peak at #8 in the UK.

2008- Flo Rida ft T-Pain- Low

'Low' was the debut single from US rapper Flo Rida which featured T-Pain. This would feature on the soundtrack of Step Up 2: The Streets, best to say I remember 'Low' more than the film. This would on and peak at #2 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #1 where it would spend ten straight weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. This would come 31st in my R&B and Hip-Hop Songs of the 2000s which I did back in 2015.

2012- will.i.am ft Britney Spears- Scream & Shout

The last song for this week is: 'Scream & Shout' which was the second single from will.i.am's fourth studio album '#thatPOWER'. This would on and peak at #1 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #3. This would make a reference to Britney's 2007 single 'Gimme More' with the lyric 'It's Britney b*tch'.

This Week:

1982- Hot Chocolate- It Started With A Kiss

The first song for the week is from Hot Chocolate with 'It Started With A Kiss' which was from their seventh studio album 'Mystery'. This would peak at #5 in the UK, it would be re-released in 1993 and 1998 where it would reach #31 and #18 respectively. I remember this band very well from my childhood as on a Friday night it would be tradition for my Dad to play this CD, and I enjoyed this song from them. Great talent was Errol Brown who is very much missed.

1989- Bobby Brown- My Prerogative

My Prerogative' which was the second single from Bobby Brown's second album 'Don't Be Cruel'. This would go on and peak at #6 in the UK, in the US this would fare better and reach #1 in the Billboard Hot 100. This would be re-released in 1995 in the UK where it would peak at #17. It was most famously covered by Britney Spears in 2004 which was from her greatest hits album 'Greatest Hits: My Prerogative'. This version from Britney would go and outpeak Bobby's chart position of this in the UK by peaking at #3 in November 2004.

2012- Sean Paul- She Doesn't Mind

The final song for this week is: 'She Doesn't Mind' was the second single from Sean Paul's fifth studio album 'Tomahawk Techinque'. This would on and become Sean Paul's highest charting single in seven years from 'We Be Burnin' by peaking at the same position as 'We Be Burnin' at #2 in the UK. In the US this would peak at #78 in the Billboard Hot 100. I would say I was definitely a fan of this from Sean Paul when it came out, this would come 27th in my Top 40 songs of 2012 and 47th in my Hip-Hop and R&B Top 100 of the 2010s.

My Prerogative is one of those class 90s tunes that feels kinda forgotten. 2 Can Play That Game understandably gets more love in general but this is a great track too.

This Week:

1987- Michael Jackson- Bad

The first song for this week is from Michael Jackson with 'Bad' which was the second single from his seventh studio album 'Bad'. This would peak at #3 in the UK where it would stay in that position for two weeks. In the US this would fare better at peaking at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100, where it would stay at #1 for two weeks. In 2006 this would be re-released where it would reach #16 in the UK. Following Michael's passing in 2009 this would re-enter the UK charts at #40. This was another iconic music video from Michael Jackson. The song would later be parodied by Weird Al Yankovic with his version 'Fat'.

1995- The Outhere Brothers- Boom Boom Boom

'Booom Boom Boom' was the fourth single from The Outhere Brothers debut album 1 Polish, 2 Biscuits & A Fish Sandwich'. This would go on and reach #1 in the UK becoming their second of two chart toppers in 1995. It would spend four weeks at the top of the UK Charts. In the US this would peak at #65.

2010- Diddy-Dirty Money ft T.I- Hello, Good Morning

The final song for this week is from: Diddy and his group Dirty Money from their debut album 'Last Train To Paris' which was the third single this would feature rapper T.I. In the UK this would peak at #22 in the UK, in the US this would peak at #27 in the Billboard Hot 100. I remember hearing this quite a lot in the summer of 2010, this was definitely a staple in the playlist back in the summer of 2010. In Diddy-Dirty Money was a musical duo of Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper alongside Sean Combs aka P.Diddy, Puff Daddy, Diddy. They would later have success the following year with 'Coming Home'.

Some good picks in recent weeks from MJ and Hot Chocolate and I also like the Mario Winans version a fair bit and 'Scream & Shout' is okay.

This Week:

1982- Shalamar- I Can Make You Feel Good

The first song for this week is from American R&B group Shalamar with 'I Can Make You Feel Good' this was taken from their sixth studio album 'Friends'. This would be their first UK Top 10 hit where it would peak at #7. This didn't chart in the Billboard Hot 100. This is a great tune from them. This would later be covered by Kavana who is best known in recent years for appearing in ITV2's 'The Big Reunion' and appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015. Kavana's version would peak at #8.

1987- Michael Jackson- The Way You Make Me Feel

The first song for this week is from Michael Jackson with 'The Way You Make Me Feel' which was the third single from his seventh studio album 'Bad'. This would peak at #3 in the UK where it would stay in that position for three non-conserative weeks. In the US this would fare better by peaking at #1 in the Billboard Hot 100, where it would stay at #1 for one week in January 1988. In 2006 this would be re-released where it would reach #17 in the UK. Following Michael's passing in 2009 this would re-enter the UK charts at #34. This is another highlight from 'Bad'.

2012- Usher- Scream

'Scream' was the second single from Usher's seventh studio album 'Looking 4 Myself'. This would go on and peak at #5 in the UK. In the US this would peak at #9 in the Billboard Hot 100. This another fantastic tune from Usher, I couldn't really tire of his music.

21 Questions is a wonderful choice!

Every single track from that album is a classic but a Nate Dogg chorus elevates any track.
