Thought it was about time we brought back an old forum favourite. They were always popular and fun!

So here's how it'll work, we will pit two chart/popular songs against each other, members of Buzzjack get to vote for their favourite out of the two and the winner advances to the next round in another dual, and it'll keep going until it's kicked out and replaced with another song etc..

Each round will be open for at least 48 hours. Don't forget, vote for your favourite and if there is a song you're not familiar with, the YT links are there for a reason

The first round sees the two biggest British females of this decade battle it out with their new ones.

gotta give my vote to Queen Jess. Not even close as 'Girls' is a bit of a step down for Rita.

I'm avoiding listening to the Rita song but I have heard the live version with RAYE from a while back and that was enough to know it's obnoxious trash. 'I'll Be There' isn't Jess' best song ever but it's a nice enough effort from her so easily gets my vote here xx

Both are fairly crap tbh, I'll Be There would be SO much better without the "Oh, oh" parts and Girls is just a nothingy sound that ruins Rita's stellar string of hits

I haven't heard the studio version of Rita's yet but I also have heard it live on TV and didn't particularly care for it whereas Jess's is a big improvement on the Rudimental collab so she Jess gets my vote here (and I'm a bigger fan of Rita too :'))
