This is hilariously bad. Like really really awful, the lyrics are beyond laughable - I can't! This can't be a hit surely?! laugh.gif I went in with an open mind too!

I was expecting not to like this at all from these comments, but I don't mind it laugh.gif

It's produced by Jon Bellion, and was originally going to be released by him at the start of the year

I don't mind this at all actually, it's a vast improvement on the previous era (although I did like 'Intentions'). Easy top ten for him, can even see it challenging for number one.

It's nothing revolutionary although slightly better than anything from Changes. But still not something I will be listening to.

I prefer the Changes stuff, but the chorus is infinitely catchy.

This is so good wub.gif Wasn't expecting anything like this but I'm here for it - instantly so much better than anything from Changes.

Best thing he’s released so far this year! Although I did like the Ariana collab to be fair

This song is truly the definition of inoffensive to me, I can't bring myself to feel strongly about it one way or the other. Can't decide if that's better or worse than 'Yummy' which was at least memorable if not for the right reasons. laugh.gif

(I did kind of feel similarly about 'Intentions' but I lean towards quite liking that whereas I really just have no opinion on this one at all).

There's no way this is better than 'Intentions', although it's better than 'Yummy' but still a total cringe-fest.

What an unbelievably odd thing to do.

It’s on ACR too isn’t it, which makes it all the more baffling.

It'll be sales though boosting it mostly from this, so that shouldn't make too much difference

This is so pointless, and it adds nothing to the song that wasn’t already there.

OK I think it should have been different to the other version production wise, maybe orchestral and not with the same beat with more of the choir in it singing parts of it on their own.

You can tell this was a complete afterthought and a rushed job.

Completely agree, adds literally nothing to the original whatsoever rather than have barely audible backing singers with a few "aaaaahs".

Should have had at least the second verse entirely sung by the choir without Bieber's voice over the top and I can't believe they kept the rap part in. Irrelevant nonsense about a Vespa & Lionel Messi, ermmm what's the relation to the NHS there. Added to that the choir looking completely gormless for the whole duration of said rap.

The only plus point is that they "attempted/butchered" a contemporary song and didn't pick Bridge Over Troubled Water or the like for the fifty billionth time.

laugh.gif Yes they bit where the rap is in the video is a bit weird, the choir just stand there mostly and don't sing much. Chance The Rapper should have still been in it, I find no-rap edits of songs a bit anti-rap which is a bit musically narrow minded I think, the choir maybe should have sung more backing vocals during the rap part though.
