It's been a ridiculously long time since I've updated this, but since then, this is what has happened:
- Kristyna Myles finished 29th in the semi. It's a shame she didn't do better, but at least we qualified, and in doing that we were guaranteed to get a new personal best. - Sarah De Bono represented Bellamia in BJSC 48 with her song No Shame, and ended up DNQing, finishing 18th in her semi. - The representative for BJSC 49, Kristina Maria, was revealed as part of Ramrynia's fantastic showcase last night. We wish her the best of luck! |

Nina Nesbitt has been confirmed as Bellamia's representative for the 50th competition hosted in Fljótavík. Nina was previously entered by Ashton with her song "The Apple Tree" and qualified to the final, so we're all hoping she can repeat that success for Bellamia with "Boy"!

Given the first post a nice, snazzy and uncluttered look with updates on results and all, need to start using this thread more!

So after Alyssa Reid got Bellamia their third qualification, Ulrik Munther has been chosen to represent us with his song Heroes in Defeat (Change Your Mind), which is the second biggest song of the year so far in Bellamia (after Something New by Girls Aloud).
Take a listen: |

I've just downloaded the Sinners EP and noticed your name in the digital booklet! Is your picture somewhere in the montage too, I tried looking for it. Sinners is also the free single of the week on iTunes!

Sinners is also the free single of the week on iTunes! Oh fantastic! My picture isn't in the montage from what I saw, it was like her most recent Twitter followers or something, I followed her too early to be included Glad you're liking Sinners though! It's my favourite track by her and I'm hoping the rest of BJSC realises how good it is and votes for it! |

I do like it but I was more interested in the other songs on the EP, seeing as Sinners was available for free anyway, they all sounded very good from the clips I listened to! She's got a lot of potential.

She's got a lot of potential. Oh yes the EP is pretty good! Better than the Fools EP I think. I really hope she can properly breakthrough and get some big chart hits one day |

Too Many Cooks seems to have its fans but it didn't have a wide enough appeal. Was just a back-up after Alyssa got vetoed anyway. |

tyDi and Kerli bring home a fourth place finish for Bellamia
After the BJSC 57 results taking place in Trifoski tonight, tyDi and Kerli were revealed to have placed fourth out of 31, meaning a new personal best for Bellamia by 13 places! 140 points in total were given to their song Something About You. Many thanks to those who gave the song points, and congratulations to Syndare for winning! This post has been edited by JosephStyles: 26th August 2013, 09:02 PM |

Houseshaker and Amanda Blush compete in BJSC58
DJ duo Houseshaker are set to represent Bellamia in the 58th edition of BJSC, held in Syndare. The song Light The Sky is a dance song from the Kontor record label and features vocals from Amanda Blush. We hope this can bring us our third qualifier in a row! Best of luck to everyone. |

Houseshaker bring home a third consecutive top 20!
Houseshaker has finished 12th in the final of BJSC 58, which took part in Syndare just moments ago. 98 points were scored from fellow nations, which Bellamia are VERY grateful as it helped secure out second best position to date, despite being predicted bottom 7 by most people. We can confirm that Bellamia's next entrant has already been decided, more news coming soon... |

Topher Jones brings home 16th place!
After the results of the 60th BJSC last night in Trifoski, Bellamia were pleased to receive their third best placing in the contest to date. Topher Jones and his track Talk About It, featuring Katie Sky, scored a respectable 79 points, up from 62 to place it 13th in the semi final. Bellamia's entry for BJSC61, set to take place in January, has already been decided, but the current focus will be on The Best Of contests happening over December. |
