Pleased with a big score there, hopefully if it goes at least reasonably well from now on I'll get a reasonably good placing biggrin.gif

04 | Other than being stabbed, name a way that a character was killed in any of the 4 Scream movies.

(8) Head crushed by garage door (Memebury, Iz, Alex!, SamJudd, Dannyboy, lotti, Oliver, Jonjo, UV)
(4) Shot (Regina, Jade, Harry, Josh, Chez)

[0] Head bashed against car window 3 times, thrown, impaled in back of head through windshield by pipe while on moving car
(tim)
[0] Throat slit (Jahq)

Tatum's iconic garage death nabs the big points here. In all 4 movies this is one of the best knwon and remembered. Tim goes for a very accurate death from Scream 2,
Jahq sticks to the knife theme and the rest of you went for death by gun, the most common weapon after the knife in the series.

05 | Name an actor/actress who has a “2 for 2” record for the main acting Academy Award categories.

[5] Kevin Spacey (Memebury, Iz, Dannyboy, Chez, Oliver, Jahq)
[3] Hilary Swank (Regina, lotti, tim, UV)

[0] Christoph Waltz (Josh)
[0] Robert Di Nero (Harry)
[0] Meryl Streep (Alex!, SamJudd)
[0] Jodie Foster (Jade)
[0] Jennifer Lawrence (Jonjo)

2 for 2 = 2 successes out of two attempts. Anyone with a brain should have figured that means 2 nominations for each Best Actor/Actress or Supporting Actor/Actress.
For example, Hilary Swank has been nominated for an Oscar twice and won both times.
Robert Di Nero has had 7 nominations, Meryl Streep 19, Jodie Foster 4 and Jennifer Lawrence 4, so all wrong. Only 3 right answers here, Christoph sadly giving Josh no points,
with Kevin and Hilary nabbing 5 and 3 points respectively.

6 | Name a Bond Theme that failed to reach the top 10 in the UK.

[6] Sheryl Crow – Tomorrow Never Dies (Regina, Alex!, lotti, Jonjo, tim, Jahq, UV)
[2] Garbage – The World Is Not Enough (Memebury, Iz, Dannyboy)
[1] Shirley Bassey – Goldfinger (Jade, SamJudd)
[1] Shirley Bassey – Diamonds Are Forever (Josh, Oliver)

[0] Alicia Keys Jack White – Another Way To Die (Harry)
[0] Nancy Sinatra – You Only Live Twice (Chez)

In stark contrast everyone here was right even if not everyone got points. An unexpected top scorer in Sheryl Crow, a theme that is often overlooked.
Garbage's classic also nabs a few points as does DAME Shirley's two most iconic Bond Themes.

When you said about so many of us f***ing up I thought for sure my luck would be out... ended up getting top pointer funky.gif

And getting that correct was also a pretty good result, considering I know little about awards etc. so ya for that too! cheer.gif

I thought Christoph Waltz would be a big pointer due to him being so recent but apparently Meryl Streep was a more obvious answer, OK laugh.gif

07 | Name a popular Australian actor who got their start in Home and Away.

[14] Chris Hemsworth (Regina, Jade, Memebury, Harry, Iz, Alex!, SamJudd, Josh, Dannyboy, Chez, Oliver, lotti, Jonjo, Jahq, UV)
[0] Samantha Jade (tim)

Oh Tim, proud SamStan till the end x
Almost full house for hunk Chris Hemsworth who as we all know is known for playing Thor. He got his big start in surfing soaf Home & Away and this led to him actually being
in the Auz Dancing With The Stars. Slay. There was no shortage of people you coulda gone for, Isla Fisher being an obvious one off the top of my head.
