Funny reading this back and seeing that we all thought he could potentially get them back on track, he's really done anything but. Not quite as catastrophically as Truss or Johnson did perhaps and has avoided too many dangerous scandals, but he's been utterly ineffective at both managing his own party and appealing to the public. These desperate alt-right dog whistles recently with climate change, immigration and the culture war are as unconvincing as they are cruel (Braverman/Truss are better at that and I think they'd rather wait it out and watch him fail first) and then he cancels HS2 and alienates a massive part of his potential voterbase tearsmile.gif So weak, here's to a 1997 style defeat whenever it comes!

He is awful in every sense - promised integrity but gave us more and more corruption. I haven't read everything to do with his wife's business empire but it sounds dodgy as hell. He has no sense of morals, completely going for GB News style politics to save his skin- bashing trans people, dumping the even very minor changes that were proposed to tackle the climate emergency but stating vapidly that net zero targets will be made (like how?) and being either too scared or unwilling to reign his deeply divisive and dangerous Home Secretary's rhetoric in.

I get the sense he doesn't give a monkey's about his fellow humans and always has his eye on lining his pockets post being PM. He'll be forgotten as a footnote in British politics in no time. Although I do hope he loses his seat at the next election. With tactical voting and a strong Reform vote then maybe just maybe.
