I have a soft spot for 'Who's that girl' even though it's not one of my favourites. It remindes me of an unfinished demo version of 'La Isla bonita.' The middle- 8 elevates the song, I suppose Madonna could release anything at that stage and get to No.1.

Yeah, I was looking at the list and 'Who's That Girl', as well as 'American Pie', stood out as songs that were helped to #1 by the huge eras that came shortly before.

Favourite - American Pie ("Like A Prayer" still great, but overplayed to death)
Worst - Papa Don't Preach (her worst 80s single, together with "Fever"), also I dislike Hung Up, Music and 4 Minutes.

I know right? Wish that could be as fondly remembered as Hung Up is. It's probably one that people may think "oh yeah, I loved this one!" if it were played to them.
