Again, This NOW has got me thinking "What songs can they get". Wild Thoughts features Rihanna and she no longer appears and This Is What You Came For appeared but probably requested the top spot of Disc 1. Taylor Swift didn't appear with her 1989 singles and didn't appear with Everything Has Changed. Speaking of Ed, we're still unsure if Shape of You or Galway Girl will appear.

So far the the No. 1s we will get are Dua Lipa and Sam Smith is he goes No. 1 this week.

"Wild Thoughts" has a chance as Rihanna is only a featured artist which means she has no say in the matter. It's up to DJ Khaled and so far, we know he gives the rights to his music hence why ITO appeared on NOW 97

If "Look What You Made Me Do" makes it on to NOW 98 I will buy it IMMEDIATELY. I'm hoping they can claim the rights to it. Like Hajdi said, her music is back on all the streaming sites and the US NOWs featured every single from 1989 (apart from Shake It Off).

So, despite claiming to showcase the best "million seller" artists of this 21st century, they've alarmingly managed to omit One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Drake, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Adele. blink.gif

What an offensive track list. Most of those songs aren't million sellers even with streaming.

EDIT: Turns out they all are. Which is still pretty shit.

It should just be songs which are ACTUAL million sellers, not songs which became million sellers due to streaming. They could have included "What Makes You Beautiful", "Roar", "Firework", "Forget You" and "Starships" which are all ACTUAL million sellers if they only waned to use recent songs

That's rubbish compared to the original NOW Million in 2014. They need to give it another name. NOW Digital Anthems or something.

I'm surprised "Uptown Funk" has been omitted. Because they usually plaster it on literally all of their spin-offs and it's an ACTUAL million seller. They have also re-hashed NOW Disney which is due for release on 3rd November

Can they just stop with the half-assed spin off compilations and invest all that capital into actually making their main series good again by buying the rights to artists people actually car about. huh.gif

It’s because of the constant spin-offs why they’re losing the rights to big artists

Hadji, we've been over this again and again. It's due to the artists themselves, not the NOW Team.

New Disney album coming. It's probably a re-release with some new songs, but I'm still excited for it.

I hope we get Eddie Rabbitt, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers and Billy Ray Cyrus on the album. Would be funny if we got Megan McKenna on there

Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration? Most of the big hits you'd have expected to have made it onto Now 97 did, including the biggest hit of the summer. The only glaring omission from the Nows this year has been Shape Of You. Artists like Justin Bieber, Calvin Harris, Little Mix, Katy Perry etc are still classified as artists people care about.
