Dasha, a new breakthrough singer, released her 2nd album What Happens Now just under a couple weeks ago - this is her first ‘cuntry’ album and is a definite future country star if she continues down this route! Austin is the lead single (released last November) and is currently taking off, debuting on UK Spotify today! I’ve been obsessed with this album over the past couple of weeks. Austin is the obvious highlight, great lyrics and such a catchy beat (it kinda reminds me of Halsey’s You Should Be Sad in parts). I also adore what happens now, which is a MAJOR bop. King of California is my other favourite and the album is really solid overall, though I’d maybe take another uptempo number over one of the ballads. Dasha’s material reminds me of Kelsea Ballerini, which is never a bad thing *.* (I was also thinking of making a return to the current BJSC with Austin earlier this month but decided I couldn’t be bothered with the effort as felt it’d flop there, now I definitely won’t be returning obviously! x) |

me neither! my spotify stats are telling me its my most played song of the past 4 weeks and i only added it to my playlist on tuesday when you brought it up in the spotify charts thread lol! so obsessed! wjhat a song! gonna check out more from her too as this is a mega bop
