I really love Hailee and singing-wise I love her version of 'Flashlight', so I'm very intrigued about this!

The music video for this was filmed this week and it was directed by Hannah Lux Davis who directed the likes of 'Bang Bang' and 'Sparks'.

Anyway, a snippet of this played on the radio in the morning, and it sounds pretty decent. Hopefully it gets me fired up for the actual premiere!

This song is "alright" and a good pop song, but that's all for me. I think 'Fight Song' does what this tries to do to a much bigger and better effect. It's not "bad" but I really don't understand how this is being praised half as much as it is, when it's just "a good little pop song" and nothing more really (to me anyway).
But I thought that about 'Fight Song' at first and I've now just listened to that about 6 times in a row on full blast! <3 So maybe this'll go the same way?

Nice and fun! And I do love outdoors videos. It's such an amazing song though, I hope it gets picked up worldwide as it looks like US radio are definitely supporting her.
You can tell she's on the same label as Jessie J, the styling of Hailee is very similar to Jessie in places - it suits her though!

Well I've been informed by Harry and Rob that this has just been played on BBC Radio 1 and Greg James said "I think everybody should get used to hearing it, because that is gonna be HUGE".
Hopefully they are going to support this then!

The video is actually INCREDIBLE. As is the song, what a stellar debut! I like the end of the video best where she's dancing with a group on the street, would've liked to see more of that but I guess it'd go against the whole "I don't need anybody else" premise. 
Anyway, can't praise this enough.

I'm still so pleased this is doing so well, it's really surprised me! I just hope it can cross over outside the US and Canada, especially as Radio 1 did play this the other week.

I first discovered Hailee when she was in 'Begin Again' and by now I've seen a good three quarters of her filmography - she's just so watchable and likeable.
