This is the "heavy" EP so I wouldn't expect anything like Mother Tongue on this one.

As much as I like that one, I'm appreciating their heavy music a whole lot more with Obey and Parasite Eve. There's loads of bands making solid pop-rock, but far fewer hitting the spot with hard rock/metal for me like BMTH. (Architects' and While She Sleeps' new singles are worth checking out!)

Ah, was unaware of the EP thing. Hope this gives them a third 2020 Top 40 single in any case!

Yeah 3 more coming over the next year or so! It seems like each one will have a different sound so I'm intrigued as to how it go.

My guess for the others are pop-rock, EDM and deathcore (the old fans will be praising the heavens for that laugh.gif)

I saw them at the Big Weekend when massive social gatherings were a thing and they were phenomenal. Throne absolutely went off, as I believe young people say. I'd never really been a to a Kerrang! demographic gig before even when I was in my late teens at the height of pop-punk and nu-metal. It was mint! I was a right NME indie guy at the time, but whose hits do I go back to in 2020, Starsailor's or System of a Down's? No prizes for guessing the answer!

I've been hearing that Dear Diary sounds like it's from Suicide Season! I can't wait to hear that tomorrow

Absolutely fantastic EP, I couldn't stop smiling while hearing "Dear Diary" for the first time laugh.gif Of the new tracks, Kingslayer altogether was probably my favourite! And the intro into it hit me like a storm.

I'll definitely have this on repeat for the next month!

Wasn't expecting this to be so long, it's pretty much an album rather than an EP surely? Glad all the recent bangers are present and correct. And yes the chorus of Dear Diary made me laugh out loud. Will be going back to this time and time again!

Perhaps in yesterday's update, but not with Ariana gaining throughout the week. They'll have more chance when the physicals release in January.

Besides, it's just an EP not an album

I mean that it's unlikely to have the same sales as their studio albums, and won't have as much promo

Am I going crazy or has Kingslayer's intro been separated into its own track? Or has it always been like that as 'Itch for the Cure?

Glad this ended up in the top five on the album chart in the end! Teardrops is probably my favourite BMTH song since Avalanche, very happy that it managed to get into the top 40.

Clean version of PH:SH is available to buy/stream... except 'Ludens', which is actually explicit. LOL

Well, now you can stream 'Ludens' with changed lyrics from "messed up" to "f'd up" and "names can dig so many graves" to "names will make me blow the brains..." (rather concerning IMO).

I like the clean lyrics (and its overall production/master) better.

(Digital versions will probably be fixed accordingly in the future)
