And the ikonec 'Taste It':
And these:
I'm surprised it's going to be that soon! I'm sure she only finished it like three weeks ago! Can't wait, Nocturnes was definitely a highlight of 2013/2014 for me
Everything I've heard from this sounds awful.
3rd album
I didn't heard anything about her in last 6 years.
"Hands" is my favourite album from 2009.
The Taste It EP was absolutely horrifying so three of its tracks featuring on this is very depressing. 'Better in the Morning' wouldn't have sounded out of place on it either.
Where are the hooks?
The concept of this whole project is possibly the worst thing I've ever seen in my life, and I've heard nothing even remotely listenable from it either.
Oh Bootsy, what happened to you?
I like Heroine.
Awful songs
I've seen farts more catchier
'Real Girl' and 'Better in the Morning' are the only great tracks, sadly but not unexpectedly.
Someone on last.fm said 'H&M music has never been so good.' lol.
'Better in the Morning' is wonderful, but it's certainly not even close to the standards of most of Hands.
It's a shame she's flopping, I remember when she shaded Pixie Lott lol
I actually ended up loving the album. So bizarre for the Taste It EP and 'Better in the Morning' to be so shit and then for the album to be quite good, but there are some excellent songs on there and ones that hark back to Hands too. 'No Pressure', 'Working Girl', 'Help Too' and 'Real Girl' would be my highlights but they're not the only good songs. Pretty sure this will hold up a lot better than Nocturnes.
Going to hold out until payday for this but Taste It is the only memorable one so far.
Shame shes getting more and more irrelevant as each campaign goes by, especially after Hands was handled so well.
I wouldn't say Hands was handled very well, she's very lucky she had 'Remedy' to prevent that campaign being a complete disaster.
Yeah Hands was handled catastrophically, that's... exactly why she's in the position she is now in. Nothing about that album was well-managed outside from the production of it (no Victoria I don't care if they made you sell your soul).
Compared to subsequent stuff I'd say it was handled well
There hasn't been anything poorly handled about either her second or third albums, they were just released by an artist with no commercial potential at that point in her career. There was nothing her or 679 (at the time) could have done to have made her second and third albums succeed. Or can you think of any particular choices made in this campaign that stopped Radio 1 playlisting 'Better In The Morning'?
I don't think she cares about commercial success anymore. She has a core (albeit small) fanbase that will always buy her albums and turn up to her shows. She knows this, and good on her.
Yeah, agreed. The only thing she has to worry about regarding album management is actually getting to release them now. And I was surprised to see the album actually land in the top 75 last week.
I saw an advert for this on the train today *.*
Gosh I loved her so much 6 years ago
This looks ... terrible.
What even is that theme?
What happened to Earthquakes and Remedies??
Nerina Pallot was right.
