Q5: Eurovision songs which have reached the Top 100 since 2015 (this includes songs which charted in 2015)
This one was an interesting one - I picked 2015 especially as this only covers Eurovision songs from the streaming era, when the number of Eurovision songs which entered the chart dropped considerably. Unsurprisingly the only two songs in that time period to make the Top 40 are the two most guessed, with this year's hit Think About Things topping the list. Toy is very near behind Heroes though, and most of the other songs are on single figures, although poor Loic Nottet and Polina Gagarina didn't get any guesses  Jamala is the only winner in recent times to not chart so she was a fair guess, most of the other guesses are from way before 2015, the earliest being Rybak in 2010. Very much enjoying this Pointless format and much kudos Pete for compiling everyone's guesses and answers which looks a huge task!
It's definitely a fun twist as less obvious answers are rewarded over second-guessing whether other people went for the same obvious ones. Interesting to see that all 3 of us who guessed Spirit In The Sky for Q5 went for that as the final answer - in the other version, it would have scored the same points as Heroes and Toy. Unusual that one other person went for 1979 in Q1, but nobody else went for HOSH. |

Songs by female artists which have spent 5+ weeks at #1
Another one with some very high scorers! Rihanna's Umberella takes the top spot, with the legendary Whitney just pipping Tones & I to second place. Leona, Cher and Adele all get plenty of guesses but beyond that it's a free-for-all with lots of songs which people forgot spent so long at the top making a splash. The incorrect answers had lots of songs spending 4 weeks at the top, as well as some which didn't even reach #1. I realise this question was a tad vague; I accepted girl groups and female artists featuring male artists but didn't accept answers where the female as the featured artist (the most-guessed of those was One Kiss). I was ignoring them and all seemed to be going swimmingly until the last person to enter guessed Rockabye - sorry Dan17F1! n4yr and paulgilb were the best guessers here. Low scores across the board for this one! Very few people could name many answers, and those that could all named different ones leading to me doing a lot of searching on the OCC website. MIKA takes the top spot with a whopping 5 guesses, and a whole host of various answers, many of which I've never heard of in my life. Q8: Top 40 singles featuring Drake, in which Drake is not the first credited artist
We all know Drake likes a good feature, particularly now that he's only allowed 3 songs in the chart as lead artist. The winner, once again, is Rihanna, with a song that dates back to before I knew who Drake even was. His two recent songs with DJ Khaled take second and joint-third with yet another Rihanna song (does anyone reckon Buzzjack quite likes Rihanna?) and various others making it lower down. I allowed 'SICKO MODE' as it did 'feature' drake even if not officially, although thankfully no-one actually put it as their final answer. Incorrect answers come from songs where Drake is the lead artist and others I have no idea about. Okay, now I sincerely regret putting this question in as I got nearly EIGHTY different answers and it was an absolute nightmare going through the OCC website for every single artist trying to work out if it was correct or not! Q10: Anyone who has hosted the Chart Show, either on Radio 1 or Buzzjack
(I've got no idea what this video is of, I just picked the first one on YouTube) No surprises to see Scott Mills top the list as he is of course the current chart show host. The iconic Jameela is second, followed by pretty much all the recent hosts, then the more iconic older ones, then the 'occasional' hosts who do count. Buzzjackers finish a bit lower down the list, however for a few of them I have no idea whether they ctually hosted the chart or not so I'm sorry if I've put you in the wrong section!
