16. Zara Larsson - Famous
Average Rating 5.92
Highest Rating 7.5 (George)
Lowest Rating: 5 (Lee, Nick)

15. Zara Larsson - When I'm Not Around
Average Rating 6.64
Highest Rating 7.5 (George)
Lowest Rating 6 (Doug, Nick)

Kicking start this countdown is the two target tracks which never made the album and listening to both I can completely understand why, When I'm Not Around is cute little bop but Famous on the other hand, to think of the amount of songs that have been scraped and this was her idea to put this on her target edition.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 20th March 2021, 04:03 PM

14. Zara Larsson - What Happens Here
Average Rating - 7.038 (Less 10's)
Lowest Scores - 5 (Bal, Tawdry)
Highest Score 8 (Andrew, Lee, Doug)

I'm not quite sure if I would give this an 8 as I would probably say that it's one of my least favourite tracks on Poster Girl now so I would say that #14 is probably a justified result. 'What Happens Here' is the final track of Poster Girl and despite it being a cute bop, it's probably the most forgettable song on the album.

Posted by: Tafty 20th March 2021, 04:09 PM

No surprises so far! Those Target tracks were forgettable. Correct bottom place from the standard album too.

I think 'All The Time' & 'Look What You've Done' will be the top 2. Can't decide which one I think will win. 'Poster Girl' will be the next highest album track, whether that's 3 or 4 Idk.

Posted by: MrAndrewMan 20th March 2021, 04:13 PM

Definitely the correct bottom place! Not surprised at the other two either, but there are still a couple of songs I think are worse than those laugh.gif

Posted by: Juliannnial 20th March 2021, 05:18 PM

All pretty much what I expected so far. 'What Happens Here' is certainly a grower though I will say.

13. Zara Larsson - Talk About Love
Average Rating - 7.038 (more 10's)
cause honestly this aint the time or place - 3 (Tawdry)
i just wanna keep us right here in the moment 10 (Nickf1)

Finishing at number 13 at the countdown and lucky not to finish last is 'Talk About Love' which was the single to promote 'Poster Girl'. I think I was possibly a bit harsh when rating this because it's a nice track (especially the non rap version) but it's really not single material and I think this was the final nail in the coffin, the bridge in this is probably the best bridge she's ever done though, it's incredible. Commercially this did nothing and even missed the top 20 in Sweden.

Posted by: RobBot 22nd March 2021, 08:00 PM

Talk About Love really isn't THAT bad, jeez.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 22nd March 2021, 08:07 PM

12. Zara Larsson - WOW
Average Rating: 7.34
Make Your Jaw Drop (Nick, Doug)
I feel this way on chemicals -1 (Tawdry)

oh WOW, i was quite surprised to see this finish as low as #12 but the -1 really affected this. 'Wow' was originally released as a promo single following commercial use in America, the song had a massive resurge in USA following Work It! where it went top 20 on US Airplay and replaced 'Love Me Land' as a single and once again did nothing despite going top 3 on Shazam.

I'm not posting the video, i'm posting this performance which shows her stage presence, her vocals and just her being an icon. She deserves better.

Posted by: George.keh 22nd March 2021, 08:12 PM

I actually quite like these two!

Wow is SUCH a moment live so I will forever have a soft spot and I completely agree about the middle 8 on Talk About Love- it’s lush and that singalong section after the bridge! LOVE

Posted by: Frenchie 22nd March 2021, 08:33 PM

I would quite happily never hear 'Talk About Love' again so happy to see it finish low. laugh.gif

'WOW' on the other hand has grown on my loads, especially since my last few listens of the album.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 22nd March 2021, 09:44 PM

'Wow' is genuinely f***ing horrific (like just about everything Marshmello has ever been involved with)

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 22nd March 2021, 09:45 PM

Talk About Love No Rap Version > Rap Version.

WOW live version really is amazing

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 24th March 2021, 03:42 PM

11. Zara Larsson - Stick With You
Average Rating: 7.61
Highest Scorer: Nick
Lowest Scorer: Tawdry (4)

Finishing at #11 is 'Stick With You', don't get me wrong this is a very good song but I feel like we're automatically underwhelmed with this track because we expected an in your face pop anthem especially when she wrote the track with Max Martin and his team, it wasn't even written for another artist, they wrote it at Zara's house. I think we were all expecting a huge popstar moment so to be giving a slow ballad despite it being a nice track just felt a tad dissapointing.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 24th March 2021, 04:30 PM

Meh, filler. Next.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 25th March 2021, 12:34 PM

10. Zara Larsson - Right Here
Average Rating 7.96
I could have two girls in a bed: Nick (10)
I wouldn't even get your attention: LmLou 3.5

I could be naked at dinner
And touching the waiter
The baddest behavior
I could be naked, naked, naked, naked, naked, naked

How on earth did this finish as low as #10? Fun fact, 'Right Here' has a music video filmed (high budget apparently) as it was between this or 'Love Me Land' for the single. I really hope that we see the video because the song itself is a fun, upbeat, energetic song and I can imagine this going OFF live. I don't think it deserves to be anywhere near as low as this though.

09. Zara Larsson - Ruin My Life
Average Rating: 8.3 I want you to f*** up my nights (Frenchie 11)
Now i'm sleeping alone and I'm starting to freeze: Tawdry (1)

The way this would have been top 4 had it not been for Tawdry's rate of 1. I struggle to see what's so bad about 'Ruin My Life'? It was Zara's last top 10 UK chart hit and was the last single that was pushed everywhere. I get that it can be a bit underwhelming and repetitive but it's easily in my top 10 Zara songs, the Live performances are incredible, especially the dance break and the added chorus. I MISS YOU YEH I MISS YOU, COME BACK TO MEEEEEE.

Pleased to see RML finish that low!

Not so pleased to see 'Right Here' that low though. sad.gif That's pretty outrageous.

Posted by: George.keh 25th March 2021, 12:56 PM

I really can’t click with Right Here at all- it might be the worst on the album for me oops!

Ruin My Life is one of my favourites though and just a beautiful little pop number!

Posted by: MrAndrewMan 25th March 2021, 01:01 PM

Yeah Right Here is a bit of a filler for me.

Stick With You is definitely a grower wub.gif

How could you even hate the live performances of Ruin My Life frankie.png

08. Zara Larsson - Need Someone
Average 8.65 ohmy.gif
I'm happy, I don't need someone: Lee, Frenchie, Nick (10)
Run away. Run Away: LmLou (6.5)

The fact that we're only at #8 and the lowest score of 'Need Someone' was 6.5 and it received three 10's. .

Rumored to be the next single from 'Poster Girl' is 'Need Someone', originally I didn't understand why it was getting the NMF treatment and playlist treament but the more I listened to it, the more I understood. 'Need Someone' is a beautiful pop track that is fun and is something that makes me think of driving in a car during the summer, the video really needs to give me 'Teenage Dream' vibes. 'Need Someone' for me was the biggest grower on the album and it sounds very radio friendly. If they wanted to play it safe, they really should have released this over 'Talk About Love'.

07. Zara Larsson - FFF
Average Rating 8.80
is this purely platonic: Cameron, Frenchie, Jonjo, Nick, LmLou
baby don't pretend that you don't feel it too: Bal (5)

I may have overmarked this when doing the rate. It's a lovely upbeat track and I can't unhear Genetics by Meghan Trainor when listening to it, Zara wrote FFF in regards to her current boyfriend who was her best friend of years and she finally told him how she felt and now they are in a relationship together (the guy in talk about love video) but the song itself I don't think is better than the majority of songs out. I probably would have put it out after 'What Happens Here'. We're very close now to the top 5, what song missed out?

Posted by: George.keh 25th March 2021, 01:23 PM

Omg yes it is very Genetics!

Posted by: Doug 25th March 2021, 01:56 PM

FFF above Wow, Need Someone and Talk About Love... choices!

RIGHT

Posted by: Juliannnial 25th March 2021, 03:13 PM

'FFF' is an album highlight and should have been top 5. I was expecting 'Right Here' to be MUCH higher.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 25th March 2021, 06:24 PM

06. Zara Larsson - I Need Love
Average Rating 8.88
Love me back together when I fall apart: Bal, Lmlou (11)
Maybe I was wrong, Guess I never known you: (Tawdry, UV)

Like an addict needs a drug
Like a hunter needs his blood
I need love

Just missing out on finishing in the top five is one of the slower songs on 'Poster Girl', ' I Need Love'. This instantly struck as one of my favourite on the album, not because it's a ballad but the lyrics are beautiful. Zara's vocals on this really shine and it's such a good album track and a song that's relatable to many. I think it shows the progression as an artist when you compare this to 'Only You'.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 25th March 2021, 06:25 PM

Top Five

All The Time
Don't Worry Bout Me
Look What You've Done
Love Me Land
Poster Girl

Posted by: Juliannnial 25th March 2021, 06:26 PM

Okay so that Top 5 is correct tbf.

Posted by: MrAndrewMan 25th March 2021, 06:28 PM

Would've liked to see 'I Need Love' a little higher but can't argue with that Top 5 really!

Posted by: George.keh 25th March 2021, 06:47 PM

Yay @ I Need Love doing that well- it is without a doubt one of the ones I've gone back to the most along with Need Someone and Poster Girl

Definitely!

I'm interested to see the ordering, can't call it. An 'All The Time' win though probably?

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 26th March 2021, 02:49 PM

05. Zara Larsson - Don't Worry Bout Me
Average Rating 8.92
Don't worry bout me Nick (11)
you should worry bout you LmLou (6)

Kicking start the top 5 is the tropical bop 'Don't Worry Bout Me', I must admit I'm very surprised to see it finish so high in this rate considering I thought it was actually disliked. 'Don't Worry Bout Me' was Zara's last single to go top 40 as a solo artist and was her last single to actually receive a streaming and spotify push. It did go top 20 on iTunes though but it didn't do anything worldwide.

Posted by: George.keh 26th March 2021, 03:07 PM

DWBM finished top 5 in the Zara singles rate last year actually!

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 26th March 2021, 03:19 PM

DWBM is one of her best and that's that.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 27th March 2021, 08:49 AM

04. Love Me Land
Average Rating: 9
Here i am in love me land (George 11)
Lipstick Stain your soul (Doug 7)

take me home, don't call me mary

Finishing at #4 is the final song that Zara recorded for Poster Girl before lockdown in 'Love Me Land'. It still amazes me how this done nothing worldwide or couldn't even chart in the UK. It's a unique sounding song which honestly goes off with some incredible production. The song is written by Julia Micheals and Zara and the video alone is arguably my favoruite Zara video. The presence. The Deliver. Not worthy. I've never been so dissapointed to see a song chart nowhere as much as this because this should have been her break out moment.

ROBBED

Posted by: Juliannnial 27th March 2021, 05:30 PM

Whhaaat? I was expecting 'Love Me Land' to be top 3. CLOSE!

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 27th March 2021, 06:32 PM

What means

All the time v look what you’ve done v poster girl

Posted by: MrAndrewMan 27th March 2021, 06:33 PM

Hoping for 'Look What You've Done' but those 3 are all great!

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 28th March 2021, 11:09 AM

03. Zara Larsson - Poster Girl
Average Rating 9.19 (Less 11's)
I'm not the poster girl of feelings, but with you I can't stop (Julian,Jonjo,Lee,George 10)
Oh my God, oh God, somebody stop her (Bal 7)

I'm changing colors just like autumn
Sleeping without you is getting harder
Melting in like water

HO-LEE smokes! Finishing at 3rd is the title track from the album 'Poster Girl'. 'Poster Girl' was an instant fan favourite and screams a huge hit, 'Poster Girl' was due to be released in December last year as a promo single but wow stopped this being released. I do hope Poster Girl gets a single opportunity

Posted by: Juliannnial 28th March 2021, 12:02 PM

If this ain't a single Imma flip.

Whaaaat?!

So basically, 'WOW's existence ruins everything.

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 29th March 2021, 11:41 AM

yes she even had a spotify exclusive performance of this due to be released but yeh wow

Posted by: Ultra's Version 29th March 2021, 01:34 PM

Poster Girl top 3 cheeseblock.png should be top 2 though, what a fab song that I've gone back to way more than I expected over the past couple weeks <3 (I should've given it a 10!)

Look What You've Done to win!! I feel it'll be All The Time though (which I'd be fine with, it's top 3 on the album if it actually made it kink.gif). The way the top 3 songs here are by far my faves on the album whew <3

Posted by: Ho-Lee Smokes 29th March 2021, 04:20 PM

01. All The Time
Average Rating 10!
from the breaking of the day to the middle of the night (Cameron,Julian,Lee,Doug 11)
I try to forget about you baby: LmLou (8.5)

02. Look What You've Done
Average Rating 9.19 (More 11's)
Now they're playing our favourite song Jonjo (11)
Don't need no one: Frenchie (6)

Finishing at #1 is Zara's most underrated bop 'All The Time' which somehow never made the album 'Poster Girl', 'All The Time' was the final Zara single to be supported by Radio and was the last Zara solo single which managed to go top 100, how sad is that though? 'All The Time' deserves and deserved better. Finishing at #2 and the most popular track is the heavily Abba influenced 'Look What You've Done' which is very Clean Bandit meets Abba. Look What You've Done seems to be gathering airplay and becomes her first single since 'All The Time' to get Radio support with Radio 2 B Listing it.

Posted by: Juliannnial 29th March 2021, 10:31 PM

Those final results are SO right.

Posted by: Tawdry Hepburn 30th March 2021, 03:24 PM

'Look What You've Done' is just such an undeniable barnstormer. So camp and glorious.

'All The Time' has hugely grown in my affections since it's release, what a STUPID decision to not put it on the actual main album!

Posted by: Tafty 30th March 2021, 05:50 PM

The CORRECT top 3! *.* We STAN.

'Poster Girl' really should be a single. I wish they pushed 'Look What You've Done' more, too! sad.gif
