For the first time, we have a joint winner from last week's poll which unfortunately didn't have the best voter turnout. Digitalism's nostalgic garage house tune 'Haus It Going' tied with Surusinghe's energetic 'Skit'. Surusinghe is a genre-bending producer from Australia known for her innovative and percussive, bass-driven music.

Not even my bias to being a Pretty Girl stan could get in the way of the humongous Ross From Friends tune

Pity a winner couldn’t be decided last week. My advice in future would be to have a tiebreaker poll included in the next week’s poll, that would work better than two winners imo.
 O'Flynn – Vesta [This sounds lovely, definitely one of the better songs this week] Skream – Summoned [A dark and mysterious electronic trap instrumental is what we love to hear] Ross from Friends – The One [A strong entry this week, the vocal is a little grating though after a minute] Supreems – Nachtschone [There is a subtle sample in there I can tell, just can’t put my finger on what it is immediately] Grandbrothers – North/South [I think I was first introduced to these guys from Dan, and they seem to make some nice ambient sounds] Pretty Girl – I Could (Open Up Mix) [Yeah nice enough, I wouldn’t have said it was the best this week] Conducta feat. Novelist – Get Busy With It [There are some elements of this that I like, but it’s not a standout] Viper Diva – Love & Riot [Decent, hard to pick a losing song this week, but this is it] |

If you wanted an overall winner for last week, I suppose you could give it to Digitalism with my vote split in half between Surisinghe who I voted for and the Sam Girling track which I ended up preferring.
Ross From Friends gets my vote this week. |
