I can only see any withdrawls if Israel host it next year but if Croatia win then it we may see several Eastern countries return. Kosovo could well be debuting next year too.

Croatia winning would hopefully bring Montenegro and North Macedonia back.

I'm glad Latvia made it through or else I'd be worrying. Australia could be out unless they can get a sponsor or label to fund it maybe, and I'm wondering if Azerbaijan care anymore, they seem to be putting in low effort.

Netherlands to withdraw??

The commentary from the broadcaster does indicate that they are PISSED with the EBU over the disqualification. As well they should be.

I expect they will try and find avenues that don't involve them withdrawing but it's not out of the question if the EBU does not take steps to ameliorate. Portugal's also mad with the EBU for editing their performance upload and has included a question about the fake cheers that were used for Israel. Might push the Israel situation to a head.

Many countries will withdraw if Israel is allowed to compete in 2025 so at least Israel will withdraw I would assume.

Peace in Israel may be re-established anyway by then.

If nothing changes the Netherlands should 100% withdraw. There'a no question about it. Looking at the way AVROTROS threw last years Mia and Dion in front of the bus and how they are defending Joost, tells me they are telling more truth than the EBU is.

An israeli exclusion, change of leadership within EBU is what will keep many broadcasters in. If Joost is found not guilty of a crime then a public apology is warranted as well, but let's wait for the juridical system to do its job.

I really do need broadcasters to take a stand as I feel like Osterdahl will cling on to his position for as long as he can

Absolutely. After the bullish way they behaved this this year, there's no way that they'll withdraw next year. They have a hold of the EBU.

Netherlands appear to have confirmed their selection for JESC so I doubt they'll withdraw from the main contest. I expect they'll be VERY determined for a good result tho.

I'm nervous about Czechia, Australia and to a lesser extent Azerbaijan (they seem to have given up but it's small change to them so not sure they'll bother withdrawing)

Cautiously optimistic for a Macedonia return and a Monaco one. Also feel there is potential for Montenegro and Bosnia but less confident. Romania I expect will take a couple more years.

That's a provisional confirmation, which I think was already there in september last year (applications opened then)

Isntreal seems to have confirmed that they are participating in 2025.

Time for the other countries to stand their ground and withdraw. ESPECIALLY those who were "close to quitting hours before the final". Specifically the host country & any/all(?) of "the big 5" (particularly the UK).

I really think Ireland could be one of the first to withdraw.
