1. Name a movie starring Casey Affleck to score more than 70% on Rotten Tomatoes.

(6) Good Will Hunting (Jade, Harry, Iz, SamJudd, Jack, Jonjo, Dobbo)
(2) The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (Jacob, Josh, UV)
(1) Interstellar (Liam, mdh)

(0) Manchester By The Sea (Regina)
(0) Gone Baby Gone (Chez)
(0) Ocean’s Eleven (lotti)

(0) American Pie (Lindsey)

The younger, hotter and more talented Affleck brother has been in a heap of well received movies. Some not so well received ones too, but never quite dropping to the lows of his brother (say hi Gigli) A few of his best received movies mentioned here with Good Will Hunting being the runaway winner, his best received movie and one of the many projects he worked on with Ben. His Oscar nominated role in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford gets a few points and his totally overlooked part in Interstellar gets a single point for Liam and mdh. Nobody but me went for his latest offering that is getting rave reviews and Oscar buzz. Should-have-been-nominated Gone Baby Gone and Ocean's Eleven get a mention too. He WAS in American Pie, but my sources say it only got 61% on RT, sorry Lindsey.

2. Name one of the segments from Movie 43.

(6) The Catch (lotti, Jacob, Chez, SamJudd, Josh, Dobbo, UV)
(2) The Pitch (Regina, Jade, Liam)
(1) Truth Or Dare (Harry, Jack)

(0) Tampax (Lindsey)
(0) iBabe (Iz)
(0) Middleschool Date (Jonjo)
(0) Happy Birthday (mdh)

Okay, I'm not even joking, I liked this movie a whole bunch. Totally bashit crazy but enjoyable.
The premise of the movie kinda changes depending where you saw it; either it takes the form of a script writer throwing moie ideas out to a studio or in the form of a bunch
of virgins looking for a magical movie and going through some other ones in the process. Some of the best of Hollywood were in this; Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Naomi Watts and Emma Stone to name a few. The Catch, which has Kate going on a date with Hugh and his face testicles, received the most votes here, with the opening sketch The Pitch not far behind. The only other one to get votes was Truth Or Dare which saw Halle Berry making guacamole with her tit. Lovely. No mentions of my personal fave, Superhero Speed Dating, shame.

Hated Movie 43! (Though not as much as most other people do, I just found it far too hit and miss with most leaning to the latter side for me sad.gif ). Yay for a top answer though!

3. Name one of the songs performed by Bette Midler on the soundtrack to Beaches.

(12) Wind Beneath My Wings (Regina, Jade, Harry, Liam, Iz, Jacob, Chez, SamJudd, Jack, Jonjo, Josh, Dobbo, mdh)
(1) Otto Titsling (lotti, UV)

(0) Oh Industry (Lindsey)

If you have not seen this movie then you need to recify that right away. A classic tearjerkiing masterpiece.
If you HAVE seen this and didn't cry then you are a heartless robot. The movie focusses on two life long friends, a performer and a businesswoman who ends up with a heart
condition. Wind Beneath My Wings is Bette's signature song and is played at the end of the movie. Rightfully getting the most points here. Otto Titsling, a song about tits and bras, gets a point for the ever perverted lotti and shockingly the pure as the driven snow Ultraviolence, clearly being corrupted by lotti and myself. Lindsey misses the mark by going for Oh Industry.

4. Name a Marvel or DC character to have appeared in both a TV show and a movie based on a comic.

(4) Batman (Regina, lotti, Harry, Lindsey, Jacob)
(4) Superman (Liam, SamJudd, Jonjo, mdh, UV)
(2) Spider-Man (Jade, Iz, Dobbo)
(1) Daredevil (Jack, Josh)

(0) Captain America (Chez)

I did originally intend this to be a non-cartoon show but I didn't specify that, my bad.
A full house of right answers but only Chez misses out on points sadly. DC rules the roost with Batman and Superman getting the most points for people. The 90's cartoons
of both are iconic. Batman also had that camp 60's show and Superman has had Smallville and The Adventures of Lois & Clark for non animated. Spider-man has a bunch
of cartoons but no live action show, same for Cap. Daredevil has a hugely successful Netflix series, totally shitting on the movie version, even though I loved it.

5. Name one of the references to Snow White shown in the movie Enchanted.

(6) The poison apple (Regina, lotti, Harry, Lindsey, Jacob, SamJudd, Josh)
(4) Happy Working Song = Whistle While You Work (Liam, Jack, Jonjo, Dobbo, UV)
(1) Narissa dressed as a hag (Jade, Chez)

(0) Evil Stepmother (Iz)
(0) Cleaning with the help of animals (mdh)

Oh look, a question about Amy Adams in a Regina quiz.
Enchanted is littered with references and cameos from other Disney movies, but there seems to be more from Snow White than any other movie.
The poisoned apple is the biggest winner and most obvious reference here, the main part of the plot centers around Narissa trying to bump off poor Giselle.
Happy Working Song, the Oscar nominated housework bop is fashioned on Whistle While You Work and picks up points too, as does the fact that Narissa dresses as a hag to
trick Giselle, although can Susan Sarandon really be a hag? mdh gets nothing for mention (rightly) that Giselle gets help cleaning from local animals, but being in NYC it's litters
of rats, pigeons and cockroaches. No mention of Prince Charming AKA Patrick Dempsey, shame.

Not going as disastrously as I thought. Still could be doing a lot better!

'Movie 43' is just offensive when you refer to it as a movie. It should've just been some funny online YT shorts or something and it'd have been a lot better (mainly because we can weed out the shit)

6. Name one of the villains featured in Scooby-Doo: Monsters Unleashed.

(7) Pterodactyl Ghost/Dr Jacobo/Evil Masked Figure (Iz, SamJudd, Josh, mdh, UV, Regina, Jade, Jack )
(3) Black Knight Ghost (Lindsey, Jacob, Chez, Jonjo)

(0) Cotton Candy Glob (lotti)
(0) 10,000 Volt Monster (Harry)
(0) Tar Monster (Liam)

(0) Skeleton Man (Dobbo)

Classic movie, if you don't like this then there's sometihng wrong with you.
There was a whole bunch of classic Scooby Doo monsters in this movie and one new one, although it turns out he was just another disguise of Dr Jacobo who was the
Pterodactyl Ghost, someone I don't remember the cartoon version of, oops. The only other monster to get points was the Black Knight Ghost, the very first villain of the very first Scooby Doo cartoon, fact fans rejoyce for that tidbit. I don't remember a Skeleton Man being in the movie, but even if it was right, it would still be a non-pointer.
