Sorry it is very late.

I thought I would open this topic to discuss all the latest goings-on with the Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and La Liga for this season.

Blaise Matuidi has revealed he witnessed “scenes of racism” during Juventus’ win over Cagliari on Saturday. Don't need to see this at all in 2018

I'm eagerly anticipating the return of Bundesliga action. Gladbach has been a little inconsistent so a bit more consistency in the second half would be great.

I see Benevento won yesterday in Serie A. After 18 games, the newly promoted side had just a single point. Now, after two successive wins, they have seven and only need to make up a gap of eight points (in 18 games) to get out of the bottom three.

Dunno what's worse. Köln scoring a winner after the game should have finished or a clear penalty being denied even after a crystal clear VAR. ffs

Amazing to think Real Madrid have gone from the first team to win back to back CL (European Cups) in 27 years to struggling to hold on to 4th place in the League, knocked out at home in the Spanish Cup & now have to get past PSG in the CL (which they may not do), in the space of just 6 months.

Just goes to show no team stays at the top for long anymore but I also couldn't have envisaged this much of a fall from grace from them!

That said they could very much still win the CL but they'd be rank outsiders based on current season form.

With Real Madrid struggling to qualify for the UCL, all eyes are on Ronaldo to rescue them, only for him to drop one of the worst performances of the season, getting them closer and closer to Europa League.

Assuming the deciding factor is goal difference rather than head-to-head, Bayern Munich need one point from six games to win yet another title. At the other end of the table, Hamburg - the only team to have played in the Bundesliga since its inception over 50 years ago - are seven points from safety (six behind the relegation play-off spot).

Bayern Munich duly wrapped up their sixth successive Bundesliga title yesterday.

In France, PSG are 14 points ahead of Monaco with six games to play. As they play each other next weekend, PSG will take the title if they win.

I mean we can't say the Prem has been competitive this season but blimey it could be so much worse. We haven't had back-to-back winners of our league since 2009!

Napoli won 1-0 at Juventus tonight. That cuts the gap between them to one point with four games to play.

Brechin City have become the first Scottish club in 126 years to endure an entire league season without a single victory. Played 36, won 0, drew 4, lost 32.
