I remember everyone going crazy over this at the time of release. I did enjoy it, but was just a bit throwaway, especially compared to the Joanne material - that I really enjoyed - which I thought also delivered some bops but also had something a bit more to them.

I imagine the fact it wasn't so serious/self-conscious/pretentious/insert what fits like a lot of people have been finding Gaga's material from 2013 onwards to be like added to the appeal; it was quite immediate and easy to like.

As a song it's fantastic, but I feel over time the basic production hasn't exactly kept it holding up well in my affections. sad.gif

Same, I feel the Chainsmokers-esque production hasn't aged well. Joanne still sounds fresh imo

Best thing she's done for me in a long time. More like this in 2019 Gaga pls

Honestly she's a great pop writer and all of her first era of big hits were bang on trend, she could be huge again if she just went back to doing an on-trend pop album. I'd just love to see what she could do if she put her mind to it.

I don't return to it as much as I did with pretty much every non-Applause single, but whenever I hear it it's such a nice listen. A really nice song and I hope we get a few more standalone singles if we're not getting an album just yet!

Also yes, it was AMAZING on tour - brought the house down wub.gif

I’m sorry what? A YEAR?

It’s a great song and pretty much saved her career in the UK. She has radio back on her side.

It’s really grown on me over time. Sounds like early Gaga. Heal Me from ASIB reminds me of this too in places.

Apart from the obvious lyrical similarities it is similar in sound too! A nice direction for her.

The Cure, one year on? Oops, I still don't like it. Just find it a bit boring and too MOR, much like P!nk's recent songs.

Still a little jam, and sweet one too, but glad it's not on any regular album of hers.

The only Gaga single I haven't bothered to buy, bland to the extreme.
