He got his second chance with Toro Rosso/ Cashgrab Corporate, had a lengthy career, won races, finished highly in the championship, earned a lot of money on the way.... it's a shame if this is the end of it for Danny Ric.

We all expect this from Singapore now tbf, it's either an absolute banger (like 2023) or a complete and utter snoozefest. Very much like Baku in that regard.

Although this was still the first time in its 15 year history there wasn't a safety car. And in fact not even a yellow flag! As much as we like to mock the useless drivers like Mazepin, Latifi and Sargeant having one of them on the grid always provided us with the scenario of them binning it into the walls and turning an otherwise dull race completely on its head.

Speaking of safety cars I sure hope Meylander isn't paid by the hour. He's barely driven a lap all season laugh.gif

Hamilton was the big problem he chose the wrong tyre to start and basically pushed everyone back so that any undercutting through put stops was void and Max had it easy

Yeah that decision to start on softs was absolutely hideous, there's almost zero chance of early overtakes on lap 1 at Singapore as the run to turn 1 is so short.

It's basically all but officially been confirmed that Lawson will be driving from Austin onwards.

I kind of love that Max could win the title with no more wins but solid consistency

Norris showing that he is the number one driver at McLaren (got quickly bored with people comparing how quickly Piastri got to 2 wins vs Norris…..)

RB/Red Bull very cheeky to get the fastest lap in that way…..

Perez further empathising how much he has cost Red Bull this season.

Also great to see Nico climb into the top 10 in the standings. Stroll has faded badly recently

It's long been speculated that Lawson's contract stipulated 5 races this season and with time running out the rumours of Daniel leaving now have only grown.

I thought yesterdays race nicely highlighted the difference between the two title contenders. Verstappen quietly got on with it, drove consistently despite a difficult car and brought it home in the position needed. Norris had the pace, was only too keen to demonstrate it and despite no pressure at all still managed to make a couple of unforced errors. He was fortunate neither were costly. If he is to seriously mount a challenge he needs to stamp that out and drive smarter.

He needs to be remember 'the secret is to win going as slowly as possible'
