I saw the end of it. seemed alright. not seen it before, thinking it might be like the Princess Diaries. quite an old film now?

however maybe you should have posted this in the retro lounge if its a film and a book, would have been better than all those this day on top of the pops threads.

NOTHING like the Princess Diaries!!

Very Monthy Python-esque, and quite a who's who of people you recognise but you're not sure where from laugh.gif

however peter falk seems to be on every cover of screen international lately with this film company trying to flog this oldie film and fred savage i know as he was pointed out in that mooseport film where he's the president's advisor

Just randomly scrolling back through some older posts on this forum, starting from the last page and going up (just to have a gander - not really to post anything), but found this topic and HAD to comment.

Such a classic. One of my ALL TIME favourite films! I remember watching this back in year 5 and having to write a letter (must've been for English or something) as if we were Westley! Such a brilliantly done and well made satire film. It also blew my mind when I found out that Dr. Laurence from the 'SAW' movie, was in actual fact Westley in this film. laugh.gif

So yeah, SO MUCH love and nostalgia for this film <3
