Glad that Dua Lipa's IDGAF made the US Hot 100 year end chart even though it never reached the top 40... must be a new record... Nope it's definitely happened before, in fact 'Dura' and 'X' are higher in this year's year-end and they didn't make the top 40 either never knew one kiss never blew up in america I think literally all of Reputation's sales counted toward 2018 rather than 2017 (Billboard's cut-off date is November not December) which gave it an advantage.also woulda thought scorpion woulda been the top album... |

"IDGAF" is really strange because it probably only made the list due to its last week on the chart, where it declined below the top 50 with 20+ weeks but they seemingly kept it on because pop radio were still giving it a glacial 100-200 weekly bullet (though Billboard didn't mark it with a bullet as they usually do).
However, Nicky Jam has everyone beaten, not with "X" but in fact "El Perdσn" which made the 2015 Hot 100 End Of Year chart with a peak of #56. |
