Clean Bandit & Zara Larsson's 'Symphony' finally reached #1 last week, however its run at the top may be cut short by DJ Khaled and his Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne featuring 'I'm the One'. Other new entries to look out for include Kygo & Ellie Goulding's 'First Time', The Vamps & Martin Jensen's 'Middle of the Night', Katy Perry's 'Bon Appétit' (featuring Migos), Fall Out Boy's 'Young and Menace', Imagine Dragons' 'Thunder', Sean Paul's 'Body' (another Migos feature), OneRepublic's 'No Vacancy' and Cashmere Cat's 'Quit' (featuring Ariana Grande).

Gorillaz look posed to end Ed Sheeran's eight week run at #1 in the albums with Humanz - their first album of new material since 2011. Also hoping to make an impression on the chart will be The Cranberries' Something Else, Mark Lanegan's Gargoyle, Willie Nelson's God's Problem Child, John Mellencamp's Sad Clowns & Hillbillies and Feist's Pleasure.

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. This is not guaranteed this week due to the Bank Holiday.
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

The Singles chart is looking wide open this week especially as Sales for number 1 are shaping up to be less than 50k.

I'm guessing the Wale track with Major Lazer and Dua Lipa isn't doing much then?

I'm not sure anyone expected this to do much in week 1!

DJ Khaled song is 90% copy of this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n49qi-dU9IE

I thought DJ Khaled was behind 'Konichiwa' song but not.

That artist have a goldmine right now i guess he is waiting for the dong to get more popularity before steps into action

He has a huuuuge case here

But some people here still are deaf and will claim James Arthur did not copy Adele in his 'Way you won't l;et go' etc

Just out of interest, is there any chart music that you enjoy/don't complain about?

DJ Khaled co-wrote 'Don't Mind' and the song was released on his record label. I very much doubt Kent Jones will try to sue considering that.

I have to admit, when I first heard 'I'm The One', I picked up the similarity to 'Don't Mind' straightaway, though I think it's little more than a similar melody and certainly not enough grounds to sue (even if DJ Khaled hadn't co-written 'Don't Mind', which I had no idea about actually).

I think Ed will comfortably keep the #1 album (i don't see Gorillaz managing 40-50k but a #2 debut at least would be nice)

No midweeks today I'm afraid. There's nothing at the OCC website and Music Week have just republished the midweeks from last Monday. I assume the OCC will give a mini-update in the morning.
