Really impressed and surprised that Steps are hanging on in there at #4 and on 8k sales. I expected them to completely collapse. Also, their Ultimate Collection album is up to #12.

Also Singles Update suggests "DJ Khaled heading for first Official UK Number 1 single with I'm The One.
I’m The One is currently just over 2,000 equivalent sales ahead of last week’s Number 1 single, Clean Bandit’s Symphony ft. Zara Larsson, which slips to 2 today". Also Luis Fonsi up to 5, French Montana up to 13, Disciples up to 22. Further down, Kygo’s new Ellie Goulding collaboration, First Time, starts at 26, The Vamps’ latest single Middle Of The Night opens at 36. |

Yay for the two Steps albums, was worried it would go 2-10 or lower.
I'm The One is ok, quite an earworm but doesn't excite me...I love Despacito though, shame it's not the latter at No.1. |

Wow at Katy Perry set to miss the top 40 entirely. No-one could have seen this coming, what a flop!

It's more the Script than Adele so if people are accusing they should at least be accurate I don't hear that either, the songs are distinctive but I remember people making the comparison when the song was blowing up. It is currently doing really well in America, which I am chuffed about. I'm glad ot hear DJ Khaled is now on top of the singles chart and well done to Steps for holding on so strongly. Katy Perry deserves top 10 with the song, maybe even top 5 so it ia shame to see it so low. hopefully it can get some good playlist placements or some promo somewhere. Katy will rebound when airplay picks up and the video's out. She hasn't got the "big lead single" hype to help this one.
Exciting to have another new #1! Not 100% sold on the song yet, but it's great we've had 4 number 1s in the last few weeks. I can see this one sticking around for a while though. |

Including the Katy Perry feature it is quite a week for Migos - BBC are now running with story that they have joined the list of Liam Payne solo Album collaborators. As well as this there has also a video release of Sean Paul's 'Body' featuring Migos.
This in addition to fact Quavo (one of Migos rappers) is on what is currently set to be this week's Number 1 Single from DJ Khaled (and the two other members are in Video apparently). |

I'd suggest this doesn't bode well for its future prospects at all, plus the unanimous bad reception it's got. It's katy's So Good If the label is smart they'll scrap it Call it a buzz single And release sthing else with some A-list singer Anyone but Migos It's way too early to say that Yeah it's initial first midweek is disappointing but the Spotify chart malfunction affected Bon Appetit's streaming greatly, and the song is already back on the rise on iTunes. I honestly think the GP will grow to love it, I hated it at first and now I'm obsessed af *.* |

Katy's never had a pre-album single miss the top 40 in its first week before though, I can see radio dropping the single very soon because of its floppage which won't help it in the long run.

Anyway, I'm concerned she might not even have anything else better than this up her sleeve if I'm honest. |
