As explained properly in the article below, Moldova are suffering from budgeting constraints and the channel's producer says that an internal selection is a significant possibility. I think this would be a good move for Moldova even if it wasn't forced by budget as O Melodie Pentru Europa has really struggled to provide quality in recent years and is often tied up in one controversy or another. Although Mihai from Romania has said he wants to represent Moldova so perhaps he'll be happy to sponsor his own participation?

Despite vowing never to return to Moldova's selection after Joseph's plaything Eduard Romanyuta ~rigged~ it in 2015, they have seemingly realised they cannot resist Eurovision's charms any longer. Sunstroke Project are back with a very on-trend dance bop mixing UK chart faves such as Cheap Thrills, Mr. Saxobeat and Gecko (Overdrive) into a single dance anthem!
The deadline in Moldova is tomorrow and only 11 songs have been submitted so far, although amongst them is rumoured to be Boris Cavali (was favourite to win a couple of years ago until he withdrew) and a Natalia Barbu/Mihai collab so there could be some competition. But Hey Mamma is EXACTLY what Moldova need!
Boris has withdrawn again so SunStroke Project *should* be the clear favourites now...
I remember Sunstroke Project. This song is awesome as previous. If they will represent Moldova, I predict Top 7!
Looks like we had a last minute rule change as Sunstroke Project win after tying for 1st, but they won the televote and that seemed to take precedence in the end!
Finally Moldova are heading back to the Eurovision final
Great mix between quirkiness and quality! Only criticism I have is that it slightly loses momentum 30 seconds before the end, but this is a welcome return to form for Moldova.

Someone needs to inform the curators of memes from years gone by.
(actually I'm quite surprised with the overuse of 'meme' to apply to every little thing in modern society that Moldova didn't try this so hard the first time Sunstroke Project came back)
On the actual song, it's alright but definitely relies on the sax hard. More so than Run Away, I think this one will be lucky to qualify and will be riding on memories of their previous appearance to do so.
gonna go bury my high hopes for Moldova to give a nice song -> to qualify
Official music video!
SO HAPPY THIS DID AS WELL AS IT DID. Wasn't expecting anywhere close to 3rd but it's become possibly either my favourite of the year, or 2nd favourite.
This is officially a JAM, I'm sold
This comes 3rd and an essential SONG OF LIFE Hora Din Moldova much much lower. Where the f*** is the justice?!
I much prefer 2010 in terms of Sunstroke Project entries, and Yodel It in terms of fun party numbers from this year, but good for them.
While im not a huge fan of the song i was delighted it came top 4 as i had a wager on it and won €46 so it made my night!

Well I was close in my prediction. Very nice performance. Well done guys!
This is amazing. So, SO good and so pleased to see them top 3!!

Their saxophonist is simply awesome. In general, I did not expect that it was Moldova that I would like so much. The song was a soundtrack for me this summer.
